We originally booked at Locanda Fiorita, but a few weeks later we got an email offering us an "upgrade" to this related location. I put upgrade in quotes because I didn't see the original hotel in person so not sure what the upgrades were. The email made it clear that there was no elevator and the room was on the 3rd floor, but we went for it anyway. I suspect the real reason was some reservation mix up or someone realized belatedly that there was no elevator at Bloom and asked for something on the ground floor at Fiorita.
It was a great room in a wonderful location. Our room overlooked a church on the piazza.
The breakfast buffet was good, served in a beautiful common room. The rooftop deck had an amazing view of the piazza and the city spread out around it, as well as complimentary prosecco by the bottle.

We enjoyed our time here - 2 nights. It's a great location, very quiet, the rooms are comfortable (ours had a bath!) and the people who run it are helpful. The only thing to warn about is that there is no lift/elevator (which is made clear in advance) and you have to climb some 82 steps to reach the top floor, so don't take too much luggage unless you are fit.
Breakfast is good and the rates are fine. This place does not pretend to be a 5 star accommodation, but it an honest offering of a mid-range hotel/ B&B. I would certainly go back.

We stayed here in September for our first wedding anniversary.
Greeted by Antony the wonderful Manager who took us to our room and showed us where the fridge was for the all important Help yourself prosecco. I then asked him about a restaurant for that night and he recommended just what I wanted the fabulous Rosa Rosaâs a five minuet walk away. So good I booked it on our actually anniversary as well.
The rooms are beautiful and a loverly breakfast is severed. On our Actually anniversary we wanted to take a Gondola ride but on the main canals can be very follow the boat in front. No problem ask Antony recommended going to the Jewish quarter where two Gondolas operate one being the only female Gondola in the city. Antony gave us a bottle to have on the boat as well. We met with Chiara Curto she gave us a loverly hours ride even singing to us. We would recommend finding her if you want a real experience and she also gave us the history of Venice as well.
We will go back to Venice and when we do we will only ever stay at the bloom. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.

Such a warm greeting, free prosecco on the rooftop is such a great touch. Rooms are very comfortable and chic, immaculately clean. Fantastic location is a bonus when the service is so brilliant! Would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for having us!

Tucked away gem of a place, a quiet calm reading room and roof terrace to enjoy a cold glass of complimentary prosecco whilst watching the crowds below as the sunsets on Venice. Easy to reach, central location makes doing the touristy bits a pleasure. This is a lovely genuine b&b with very friendly welcoming staff.
