Spent the day / night in Ayr. Turas-Mara guest house is located centrally, the host was great - everything I needed for a short stay, in the right place, warm, comfortable and good value. I would choose this again.

Very friendly welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee, biscuits, hair drier and Freeview TV all provided. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice of menus. Train station, shops and restaurants all within a leisurely 10 minute walk. Limited off-street parking but on-street is available with a permit available from the owners. Will definitely be back.

We had the most comfortable stay at this b&b and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area. It is in a very central location and there is a lot of parking nearby. Jackie and Billy were so welcoming and friendly, they couldnât have done anymore for us. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with very comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was out of this world, with so much to choose from. My children were happy with fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereal whereas the adults had a cooked breakfast. We will definitely return here when we come back to Ayr!

I had an amazing stay in this beautiful and very quiet room. Everything within the room was beautifully and thoughtfully presented. The hosts are lovely and we had great conversations. Top marks in every way! Thank you for such a great time!

Just home from another amazing weekend at the turas Mara can't praise this guest house enough rooms are beautiful spacious and spotlessley clean and the breakfast is amazing. Its a short walking distance into the town centre and train station.Billy and Jackie are a lovely couple and very friendly x
