Amazing landscape. We didnât stay at this hotel, but we did have lunch here before we were transferred to the Ark lodge. Food options for lunch were ample, service was superb and the views were amazing.

We spend two nights at The Ark and stopped over for lunch at the country club. It is stunning and exquisite. Excellent service, remarkably clean, delicious lunch. Plenty of birds and peacocks wandering around the club entertaining us with their loud cries.

This place is quiet and beautiful scenery the food is okay and the staff is friendly. What makes this place suck are the rooms. The towel and bed linen could should be changed they have outlived their usefulness. l checked in on the 31st odf december 2017 and the water in the bathtub is brown and not hot. When l complained about it they fixed it only for the same problem to occur again on the new year of 2018. For almost 600usd for 2nights its not money well spent. Am definately not coming back.

We stayed here back in October for the start of our safari (1 nights stay only, did return also for lunch one day) We arrived late in the evening after a long days travelling. Staff were polite and helpful. We had an evening meal which was nice and the staff were attentive.
We had breakfast in the morning which was self serve. No complaints to be made, there was a wide choice of food and drinks available. Joy (chef) was very helpful, as were all the staff. We returned on day for lunch was also self serve and very nice.
Our room was clean and fairly spacious. Lovely bathroom with bath and separate shower. As we arrived late in the evening we didnât get chance to explore all the facilities available. That wasnât the hotels fault though.
Located in the hills it had a beautiful outlook, the grounds were well looked after with the animals able to walk around freely.
Unfortunately I canât select the ratings below so here are my ratings

Value = 4* we paid for a multiple location stay so not sure on price of each location

My family and I last visited Abedare Country Club (ACC) 14 years ago. We were excited to be visiting again in 2017 and really looked forward to our stay over the Christmas break.
What worked:
â Lovely views and animals
â Some of the staff (Rose - housekeeping, Tim and Paul - Restaurant, Nderitu - drives the golf cart).
What didn't work:
â Average rooms
â Average service.
â Trainee staff gossiping guests in restaurant corners.
â Reception staff attempted to disregard a booking we made for our children's horse riding session..
Overall:
Unfortunately, ACC's served up an average stay. Definitely not value for money. Would not return unless there is a radical upgrade.
