This hotel is out of town a bit, but it is handy for travelling back to the Ferry at Santander,
Nice hotel, would stay again. the food was quite nice, and the breakfast was plenty. All in all a pleasant experience.

This is a standard AC Hotel. I stay often at hotels at this chain, convenient, clean and good breakfast in my opinion. Maybe their design isn't as modern as it used to be but space and bathroom toiletries are good enough. In the street of the hotel there usually are free parking spaces.

We stayed after driving from Santander on our way to Santiago. Our room was very spacious nice en-suite and excellent breakfast morning. Staff were friendly and no complaints at all. We didn't stay long enough to see the town as we wanted to get on our way - so can only review it on what we used how we found Hotel.

This is an excellent stop after the Santander ferry. Located about 2Km from the centre of Palencia, it's an easy walk to the central restaurants and bars.
There is ample free parking near the hotel, free Wifi, and the rooms are big and clean.

This place is touted on the marriott website as being in a quiet, residential neighborhood, and from the pictures it looks like that could be the case. But when we arrived, we discovered a row of warehouses out the back window and a gas station right up against the side of the building, where our room was located. The fake fragrance smell was incredibly strong, and the place had clearly suffered from some kind of water leak because I began to smell mold under the fragrance. I asked to change rooms but they said they did not have any other rooms. We only lasted there 1 1/2 hours before we had to leave, and when my husband went to return the key extra rooms suddenly were available! (it was about 5 pm so nothing to do with people checking out). I paid in Marriott rewards points but doubt I'll see anything returned. They have underground parking, but the elevator doesn't go down to the second level, nor does a staircase, so you have to carry your bags up the car ramps. Otherwise the rooms are large enough and well furnished. BTW in the pictures, my finger points to the AC logo on the roof behind the station. The other shots show the "residential" neighborhood. The good thing is it's real close to Decathlon and Aldi.
