Unclean....needs lots of upgrades in every department of its entirety..Very tricky with funds..Travelers make sure you have their currency. ..they will not except credit cards. ..lobby furniture isn't clean. ..the use of cleaning products to eliminate strange odors would help...foods ordered was not available. ..

Our favorite place to stay in Accra is becoming very popular. We were picked up right on time by the Lodge's vehicle from the Airport. Room 1 or 2, the larger rooms, were already booked when we arrived, so we stayed in Room 5. It is a smaller room but very comfortable. The food was excellent. Breakfast comes with the reservation and other meals are reasonably priced. We found the side porch perfect for me to work on my latest novel and for Zola to practice Tai Chi. Also there is a good space to exercise in the front of the Lodge. Having a dependable taxi driver made it easy to get about the city and into the country side without any difficulties. The rain did not keep us in and the weather wasn't too hot. Finally, the staff is first rate...people you would expect to find at at top rated hotel. They seem to take a personal interest in our needs and anticipated our needs. Thank you Mrs. Owusu for keeping up the quality of the Acacia Guest Lodge North Kanashie. .

This was my 2nd time staying at Acacia Lodge so I find it a great value. I enjoy that it is away from the busy, noisy hustle and bustle of Accra but not to far to access. You can ask the Lodge to call a taxi or take a short walk to the main road and get one. What I appreciate most is that the hotel staff provided storage for my luggage while I traveled to another region for business. They did not charge me but I did provide a tip to Steve. Overall, I find my stay is always enjoyable because of the service provided. I also enjoy the tasty breakfast that is included in the hotel fee. Dinner is extra 24 cedis per person but you can order your meal and they will prepare and serve it to you at the time you request.

The location is good, just out of the noisy center, room clean and personnel helpful for a very good price. I booked and paid through a major hotel "finder" and when I arrived they tried to give me a standard room instead of the executive that I booked, because they told me that the rate they are receiving from hotels_com was very low.
I complained and got what I paid for, but did not like their "commercial" approach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia Lodge. We waited a bit to write this review because we kept thinking it is hard to believe that this Lodge is one of the best facilities we would ever want to stay in. The rooms were clean, the food was wonderful, the beer was cold. We cannot begin to say how much we appreciated the staff. So often they seemed like family that cares. We look forward to returning next year. Our only concern is that Acacia Lodge will become so popular that there won't be any rooms available when we make our next reservations.
