we booked through booking.com. We had to check out immediately and transfer to a decent hotel just down the road. The gold star is discussing. I would not put a dog in there! please don't book this place under any circumstances; by the way, the pictures on site, no way represent the reality; It is more like a prison camp.

This hotel was run-down and poorly-maintained. The room was dirty ( there was a half-empty tobacco pouch in the bedside table). The light in the bathroom kept shorting out and the hot and cold taps in the shower were the wrong way around. There was no air-con or ceiling fans, only 1 pedestal fan. There were no windows in the main room and we had to keep the doors shut for security reasons, so it was very hot. The outside security light was on all night, so the room was very bright. The towels were tiny and very old and the bed was very uncomfortable. It is right on the main highway, so there was lots of traffic noise during the night. Don't stay here!

Refused to refund an erroneous booking even though they were full and COULDN'T actually honor it! I had to make an international phone call to booking.com to have this straightened out. No one should use Booking.com or any other service to book this place.

I booked this motel online, which can look better than the reality! When we drove in the driveway we should've known what would greet us in the room. It was old, tired, unclean and just not anywhere near worth the $145 for a room. We ended up leaving after an hour it was that bad. Not recommended.

If You Want To Actually Get Ripped Off, Then This Motel Is For You!!! Its Disgusting, & Filthy All Over From Top To Bottom, Mould, Thick Dust Sounding Edges Of Carpet, Shower Head Clogged, Stained Mattress & Ripped Undercover on Base, Rubbish & Bourbon Cans Under Bed, Stained Curtains, Cheap Toilet Paper, Broken Room Phone, Odd Cutlery and no Metal teaspoons Just 1 Plastic Spoon, No Ice Tray, Spider Webs in Window Corners & Dead Insects Inside Bathroom Light, Blown Lightbulb, Dirty Coffee Table, Coffee and Alcohol Spills Up Walls, Black Fingerprint Marks All Over Walls And Around Light Switchs & Door Handles. So Much To Go Through..No Smoke Alarm & Also No Evacuation Wall Plan Or Assembly Point. No Facecloths No Teatowels, Dusty Fan.
Etc.....I Could Go On But Its Making Me Gross Out And I wish I Got More PIctures Now That I Think About It.
Website Offers Room Service But This Was Not The Case. We Arrived After Late Flight From Christchurch To Auckland & Used The Free Shuttle Service. Checked In And Were Handed The Key, Entered Room And Upon First Glance The Room Seemed To Be Mediocre. Bit Disapointed And So Tired. Everything I Have Noted Above Is the Surface Of What The Room Was Lacking. This Motel Needs To Be Throughly Inspected By The Council!!!!
