We have not stayed here but visited this hotel for dinner (Take away). We had a lot of expectations on this hotel and ordered a lot of non veg items and unfortunately not a single item is tastier and no spice at all.
But veg is good for which we are saved to a little extent.
So anyone visiting here makes sure you mention the required spice levels.
Suggestion to the staff - Please ask what spice levels the customer needs before you take the order.

We stayed for 4 nights. Room was very good.The bathroom was big, neat and clean.The staff was very helpful and cooperative.Food is ok. Our package transport was arranged by hotel. The driver was good.

Akash Inn is situated in a prime location, quite close to the KSRTC bus and railway stations.
The executive double room was pleasing and comfortable for the two of us. Bathroom was neat.
Staff were very friendly and hospitable. The day package transport arranged by the hotel was convenient and fairly priced.
Free WiFi was available. Food was decent. On the whole, complete value for money.

Good hotel and well maintained. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Food quality may need to be improved (vegetarian) little. Also price looks to be little higher side. Overall it is a good place to stay.

Located in a prime location, near to shimoga town railway station and also to KSRTC bus stand. We stayed 2 nights, room was bit small but comfortable for couple with a toddler. Staff was good, ambience and facilities were good with free wifi. They have 2 resaurants, one in ground floor for veg and in top for non-veg. We tried in ground floor, its bit costly and kind of OK food. I booked through travel website, but the staff is kind in extending the stay by 2-3 hours as, travel websites offer 12-12 (24 hour check-out).
Overall thumbs up for the Hotel.
