I was really disappointed and was under a lot of stress since the moment i arrived at the hotel. I had to wait for hours to get a room, while i had paid for it. Neither the Duty Manager nor the Front office was able to help me out. And instead of solving my issue, the Duty Manager abandoned me having dinner with his friends, while i was waiting for an hour in the lobby with my family and my infant kid.
After a heated debate, he said that i had to pay to get a room. Moreover, he said that Holiday.me is not recognized and he cannot honor the booking as the reservation department had left and they don't have any booking under my name in the system.
This was a very bad experience.

Pullman Al Hamra hotel, one of the best hotel in Jeddah.
I like this hotel but hotelâs management should be more care about the cleaning.
Staffs & Duty Manager behaviour was wonderful, and great welcome.

Hotel require a lot of work to upgrade the decoration , furnatures , resturant and car parking. Staffs were excellent in service in all levels. The room not isolated were you can hear all street noise.

The hotel is over 40 years old and is undergoing refurbishment, however - not quick enough. some rooms are OK and some are not. This is not up to Pullman standard.
Being a silver or gold or platinum member makes no difference as the desk is not manned.
I stayed there for nearly 6 weeks until I had had enough and found a better hotel but still within the Accor group not far away.
I complained several times about the room and they moved me to an old suite at the front of the hotel with traffic noise.
The room was twice the size of a standard room, however you couldn't see the TV whilst in bed (although there was a couch to sit on).
There wasn't enough electrical sockets, to charge my phone near the bed I had to un plug a bed side light.
The hotel is very tired in parts, they are attempting to refurbish not quick enough and not without inconveniencing the guests. The rotating door at the entrance did not work for the whole of the 6 weeks I stayed there during May and June 2017. One of the lifts didn't work for almost a month.
The lobby area is nice and comfy and the café bar is good. The restaurant is quite good. The staff seem to do the best they can but the hotel is not up to modern standards that international visitors expect, it may be ok for a few nights but that is all.
There is no spa.

I regularly stay in Accor Hotels and always find them excellent and good value. Last time I stayed here I was in a standard room on the right hand side of the Hotel, which was good and had recently been refurbished.. However, I am now an ACCOR Gold Member and this time I was upgraded to a Junior Suite, on the left hand side of the Hotel. Unfortunately, the room has yet to be refurbished; the carpet and the Bathroom were rather tired Everything else was good, staff, food, pool area, etc I will return.
