The holiday park itself was good and the attractions it had (dinosaurs, park, pool etc) the rooms were of good size. The only problem was the cleaness of the room the sills were dusty with dead insects. The celings were dirty and the linen had stains on them.

Four of us just spent a weekend in a cabin at this lovely, friendly holiday park. More like a luxury motel really.
The cabin was fresh, clean and modern. Beds were made up and quality towels provided. A well equipped kitchen and excellent outdoor area for the BBQ and relaxing.
One Queen sized, very comfy bed and also excellent mattresses on the bunks in the second bedroom, plus a modern sofa sleeper in the lounge.
The staff were the friendliest ever, and couldnât do enough to help.
And five minutes walk down the road is the best playground and the lovely Holdenâs Bay. Perfect for a picnic and a safe swim for little children as itâs only waist deep.

These guys were great. Since the weather was to horrible for camping they put us up in the lodge for two nights until the weather settled enough to pitch our tents. They also allowed us to pick from the available campsites.
The covered heated pool was great for the kids to play in on both the good and bad days and our 2 y/o loved the dinosaurs scattered around the property. It was also within walking distance of the lake and a great playground.

We often tent or cabin, this time we booked a standard cabin, I was very impressed by the cabin, it was way more than I expected, I did not expect bedding, TV, fan, heater, Fridge, Microwave etc. Way more than i expected for a standard cabin. The amenities were all clean and tidy and well maintained, My 9 year old son loved the playground. We were both impressed with the pool also, clean and very warm, (maybe a little too warm though), only other thing I would suggest is shower early or in the middle of the day as the hot water seemed to turn luke warm at peak times, but apart from that GREAT CAMP. The staff were lovely and friendly, helpful and full of ideas and suggestions. They also put on activities on New Years eve for the campers which we enjoyed for a laugh and was family friendly.

We only stayed 2 nights but it was perfect for us. Good pool for the kids and clean ammenities and the staff were more than helpful. Would highly recommend this place to any traveler as there is little to no smell that Rotorua is known for.
