Historic Hotel

It is a hidden gem accessed through a very busy highway, and after the check-in, it is a beautiful courtyard and swimming pool that is captivating. The room is elegant and with old style doors and locks. The bed is creaky and the noise level of the property can be very high due to prayer call around 6 AM from the nearby Mosque, Music from nearby temple at odd times, and Bollywood Music from wedding hall nearby as well.
If you are a light sleeper, forget this place.

An excellent hotel with very very pleasant staff.
IMHO, itâs always the staff that makes the biggest difference. In this case, both the staff and the facility were fantastic. We have stayed in one haveli before (2013, Jodhpur), so we arrived at the Alsisar Haveli with some serious expectations - we were not disappointed. Our room was well appointed, bathroom was excellent - clean and spacious, copious water and hot water (during reasonable hours). Outside the room, the courtyard, the lawn and the dinning room were pretty good.
The staff were well presented and most importantly, they were courteous and accommodating. This includes the tough looking burly watchman at the front gate. At one point we had to make a special request from the kitchen and they were more than happy and offered to repeat on subsequent days as well.
We stayed there for 4 nights and made use of their laundry service. Excellent too. The clothes come back immaculately pressed.
Only down side - the wine and beer selection and wifi in the rooms. Should be improved.

We booked 7 rooms there with family and friends for few days after our wedding reception. And this was absolutely perfect! The charm of a beautiful haveli. Great service, the staff is proud to work there for this family. You almost feel like home... I mean I wish I had such a home... Very nice rooms. Beautiful garden. Quiet retreat. Good spa but they should change the towels between each customers... We decided to call it our home in Jaipur when we come to Jaipur;)
Great Hotel!

Hidden gem! The hotel is a spectacular property in Jaipur. They have managed to keep the charm and authenticity of the Haveli and have lovely modern, updated rooms! Best part ...a lovely local, intimate feel. The value for money is awesome! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place! We picked this hotel based on Trip Adviser reviews and informed our travel group that this is where we wanted to stay. It was not a hotel on their list - we have changed that;)
What a shame.

We arrived at this hotel, initially thought the driver had brought us to the wrong place, no one came out to great us, Off a very shabby street, , we took our own luggage into reception, Not that we mind doing this but it is not the tradition in India at this level of hotel. Reception staff very welcoming, gave us a welcome drink which we had to carry with us , up several flights of stairs which did me in as I had a chest infection, no lift.We were offered a lower floor once the staff member saw I was struggleing .When we walked through the doors into the court yard it was a WOW. All of a sudden we were in mini palace grounds . We had lunch , fresh , hot , great lndian wine , La reserve.Room had lots of charm. basic extras , very discoloured towels.small safe , no fridge.
Went down to the bar in the evening and just had a drink.Lovely to watch an eclipse of the moon.Lovely pool area but too cold to swim. Did not realise there was a service charge on the bill. , then staff said they did not get this, so left a tip.
Breakfast, what a disappointment. Dirty cutlery, saw staff wiping the cutlery with there hands to clean it to set up tables, curry on the floor from the night before. choice limited, cakes stale. only one cereal. How very sad , this could be an incredible restaurant. Had a massage, perfect. the owners need to take a look at what is happening here. A group of their friends turned up and they were treated like royalty, This is how we would have liked to have been treated. Please do something , this could be a number one place to eat and stay in this area.
