One of our favourite hotels during our 4 week trip to Kerala and Sri Lanka

My family and I absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Ambady Estate and wished that we could have stayed longer!! The rooms and grounds are beautiful, we really enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the view and listening to the birds. The staff are very friendly, especially Baiju and they all went out of their way to ensure that we had a perfect stay. My Husband and Son have Coeliac Disease and require a gluten free diet and the staff catered for them extremely well which was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the wide variety of options for breakfast. We highly recommend this accommodation for a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful Munnar.
Lovely Accommodation, Lovely Staff, Delicious Food

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Ambady Estate. The room was large and comfortable with amazing views. The staff could not have been more helpful, always smiling and eager to help. We absolutely loved the food, some of the best we tried during our 2 week tour of Kerala. Do not miss the crispy fired vegetables in garlic sauce for a starter, Nadan Chicken Curry or the Kadai Chicken.
Stayed for two days while visiting tea plantations.

Fantastic setting. Very large bungalows with small lounge area as well. Tea and coffee and mini fridge in room. The staff were so friendly couldn't do enough for you.
The dining room was very quaint and the food gorgeous.
Beautiful setting and good food

We stayed here for two nights in the bungalow which was a little dated and needed a refurb. The other accommodation looked much better. The gardens and cardamom forest are beautiful with monkeys in the trees and sunbirds flitting around. The food was good and reasonably priced. Information on arrival was lacking and we had to ask several questions about the facilities.
Gorgeous bungalows but food could be better.

Accommodation is in colonial style bungalows with mezzanine level seating area, fabulous wooden ceilings and outside seating area. Apparently the host no longer lives on the estate (or so we were told) but is now living in Kochi. Perhaps this is why breakfasts are not brilliant. Lots on the room menu but on arrival at the breakfast room not a lot was available. Wonderful surroundings but let down by the food. Staff friendly and helpful. Good laundry service. Good Ayurvedic massage just down the road.
