Great hotel offering stunning views of the Wellington Harbour and city. Perfect location to the main street with bars and restaurants only a short stroll away. No parking but cheap parking in a parking building down the street ($12 for overnight)

Stayed for a couple nights at the beginning of January, hotel was in a brilliant spot, close to te papa, near the waterfront and close to most of the main attractions. Room was nice and big and had a great view out over the harbour. Would stay again if I am back in Wellington.

The hotel has been closed for refurbishment and will reopen in 2018. When we stayed there the public rooms were showing their age a little - carpets & walls looked a bit worn. Our bedroom, though, was just fine and the view over the city on to the bay was lovely.
Staff were friendly and aimed to please. Location good for visiting some of Wellington's attractions was good; we walked to Te Papa Museum, Civic Square and a few others. Coming back from a busy day of sight seeing, we were happy to find refreshments available any time of the day at the hotel.
When the hotel re-opens, it should look great.

The food at the restaurant in the Amora Hotel is tasty and well presented, with a reasonable price tag. However service in the restaurant and bar let's the hotel down. Understand hotel under renovation so hopefully will see improvements in this area.

Outstanding views from the rooms, across the harbor. Lovely room, spacious and inviting. Staff were super helpful, and best of all - a lovely personal touch - we found a complimentary bottle of bubbly in our room as we were celebrating our daughter's graduation, a wonderful gesture. Would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel.
