If you have transport this is a great location , with lovely extremely clean apartments , fab pool that the kids loved and nice views . It is a short 8-10 min drive into town , but has a lovely cafe overlooking the lake within walking distance for good coffee . I think the thing that makes this stand out is the lovely Hosts, we were staying only as we had car issues and had a hire car . They were so understanding when we couldnt say at 10 am whether we were staying another night or not until the mechanic could give us a definitive answer, they made it very easy and relaxing for us . Would highly reccommend this place !

Great place, fantastic facilities, lovely spacious unit, pool area great and to top it off brilliant hosts!! A must to stay, quiet location with a relaxed atmosphere. Lake 2 min walk an worth having a dip on a sunny day 10/10

Super helpful and friendly hosts, rooms were great and the bbq area, pool and spa were perfect for our family of five. We stayed for four nights and couldhave stayed another four. Such a lovely relaxing place right by the lake and our friends (also a family of five) loves it too. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at the Anchorage on 2 previous occasions and found it to be one of the better places we've stayed. it's less than 5 minutes from the centre of town, has really nice heated pools and the rooms are spacious. This time we were part of a group whose kids were playing in a rugby tournament (11 years old) and having the pools at our disposal after the rugby finished was awesome, there was room for 2-3 families to gather in our unit while keeping an eye on any kids who were swimming.

We love staying at The Anchorage. The hosts are friendly and very helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. The room is spacious and clean. It has all the facilities that makes your stay comfortable. Very family friendly and we love going back each year.
