I was booked at this hotel but after staying here a couple of nights, I moved to Tufenkian - much better choice. The whole place feels very old. The beds are made with linen that is up to the dormitory standard and not what you'd expect from any hotel. The only thing that goes for this place is its location - close to almost everything you need to see in Yerevan.

My first visit to the Ani Plaza Hotel was for a short one day conference. It became, in my mind, a conference space and not a place to stay overnight. When I finally stayed there, it was a nice surprise. The hotel is a short walk from Northern Avenue and/or Republic Square. My room was large and had a bathtub. Note: youâll need to bring (or make) your own plug. Also, be warned, you should ask for a queen, or king, and avoid the single and double rooms, unless youâre on a budget and size is not important. The hotel has a bar, coffee spot, and includes a good breakfast. Given the surrounding area, with food options, boutique shops, and a small grocery store on the corner, I will stay at the Ani Plaza Hotel again and again and again.

Booked into the hotel, our Perigrine told us that it is a 4 star hotel𤣠maybe in Armenia?
The hotel advertises 24 hr room service...reality is the kitchen closes at 10pm
Hotel advertises local beer at their cafe...the tap was there but no beer came out of it.
The hotel advertises multiple whiskeys at their whiskey bar...roughly 50% were actually available.
Laundry service is not same day, so not much good for travellers.
But a least the rooms are clean.

This hotel in the middle of the town,looks verry luxury from outside but inded allso inside. We had a verry nice room on 9nth flor. Nice room with fine beds and bath. The breakfast includes everything you cold ask. Out, you are verry close to shopping and the famous Cascade terrace.

My wife and I stayed at Ani Plaza hotel for 4 nights at the end of July. The hotel is well located on Sayat Nova Street within walking distance to the main square, the Opera house and the Cascades. There is also a convenient small independent supermarket adjacent to the hotel for necessities. Our hotel room was very comfortable overlooking the Opera house and the hotel lobby is spatious and welcoming. There is an ATM machine right in the lobby which I found very convenient but the withdrawals are limited to only $100 dollars/day. Considering how cheap things are in Armenia that was not an issue. The staff at the hotel was courteous, friendly and helpful if you have any questions about touring Yerevan or even outside of Yerevan and taxis are always available right outside the hotel. Taxis are by far the best bargain in yerevan; you can go from one end of the city to the other for 1000 Dram which is about $2. Because we enjoy walking and exploring the city along with the great location of the hotel, we rarely took a taxi. However, the thing we liked most about Ani Plaza was the outstanding breakfast included in the room price. Omelettes, cereal, assorted locally made fruit jams, cold cuts, roasted potatoes, cheeses, locally grown veggies, pastries, fruits, juices you name it. We were lucky enough to be in Armenia when apricots were in season. Armenia is famous for its delicious apricots and fresh apricots every morning was an unforgettable treat. After a hearty and delicious breakfast that is open until 10 AM, it was very easy to skip lunch and just go for dinner in one of the many restaurants in town. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Ani Plaza hotel. It is not as centrally located as some of the other (more expensive) hotels but it is walking distance to the main square and most attractions and considering the breakfast a great value.
