They have added a pool to the compound which is pretty near to the gate.
They are also adding new container accommodation which is also nearer to the gate. They must be doing pretty well.
In my past visit, I felt that the surrounding is spacious but this time, due to the addition of the pool and new accommodation, it has become a little cramp.
Staff is friendly. As I am staying in two types of room during my very short stay, they tried to make the change as easy as possible which I appreciate it.
The beach is dirty but this is due to mother nature. The are rain and strong winds that blew the debris up the beach but the staff is doing their best to keep it clean.
Room in both Courtyard and Sunrise View is good with the latter is much more spacious and there are extra power plug for you to charge your gadget.
If you stay in the Courtyard room, please remember to bring a multi-plug.

Travel from Cebu City to Bantayan island took us roughly 5 hours but it was all worth it. Love to stay here again. Food is good, same with the room. Highly recommended. This resort is for people who would love to just chill and relax because this one is a quiet place to stay plus it's also near the port area.

A trip to Bantayan Island - The Egg Basket of PI (or so I was told) was a welcome break during a work-related trip to Cebu. The location was undergoing some renovations with additional construction occurring. This was away from my accommodation, however, I could see this being a problem if you were nearby.
Food ranged from a western approach to more traditional dishes. Drink prices were quite OK. Bring small notes if you plan on using cash as there were a number of other guests also using big bills that cleaned out the change! Having a few quiet beers on the beach was most enjoyable. A security guard patrols the premises to ensure safety and keep hawkers away. The beach was clean and the grounds well maintained. A tranquil and quiet time away from more busy locations.

Read about this resort and wanted to experience it for ourselves. Was not disappointed.Breakfast was good. Sausages were abit hard otherwise it was all ok. Our room was neat. Bed was cosy and the air conditioning was superb. Great beach as well and could not ask for anything more. Worth a stay if you are heading to bantayan.

We didn't stay at Anika, so I can't comment on the accommodation, however, we did have a great breakfast en route to a snorkelling trip.
Great pancakes, bacon and maple syrup and decent ground coffee.
Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Prices were reasonable.
Would definitely recommend!
