I stayed one night while visiting family in Asturias. The hotel is lovely, with charming grounds. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well appointed -- and I had large windows overlooking the entrance to the newer building. The weather was pleasant, so I truly enjoyed sleeping with the windows open. (A rarity for a girl from Miami!)
What was truly exceptional was the staff. I regret not getting names.
*My travel mates and I had a great bottle of wine from our previous travels, and the gentleman who was on staff during the evening went to great lengths to make sure we had a wine opener, and "proper" wine glasses to enjoy our wine.
(We were willing to drink from the tumblers in the room.)
*Finally, breakfast was outstanding. Homemade by the sweet lady who served us. The cafe con leche was on point, as was the tortilla espanola! The sweets were also quite tasty.
All in all, it was an extremely pleasant stay in this beautiful town along the Asturian coast.
I'll be back with my husband.

We stayed at Palacio Arias for one night and truly enjoyed our visit. Room was super spacious and the grounds are lovely. Navia is just adorable with the river running through it and all the Cidrerias. Restaurants and bars are all within walking distance and the beach is not too far by car. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was. delicious.

It was like stepping back in time when we stayed at this hotel for two nights. When we booked we did not realise that there was a choice of rooms in different buildings. The welcome was friendly and efficient and we were shown to a room in the modern building which is adjacent to the garden but has rooms overlooking the road at the front and some with views across a piece of spare land at the back. Although the room offered was satisfactory, the view was poor and we decided to upgrade and chose a room in the old Palace. It was built in the early 20th. Century for a wealthy Indian Immigrant and bears his name, Arias. Inside it is very traditional, wood panelled walls and staircase and the rooms all have period furnishings. There are various lounges, dining rooms, billiard room, some with lovely terraces overlooking the gardens, and it even has it's own small chapel. Our room was spacious, with a small lounge area and bedroom with comfortable bed. It didn't have air con but had a mini bar and safe. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was continental style which was good. Location is excellent in the centre of Navia and close to shops and restaurants. Parking is free in the beautiful grounds.

There are two hotels here and apartments too. One of the hotels is an old mansion converted into a four star-hotel. The other, where we stayed, is a more modern building and not as expensive. The hotel is in a garden setting on the main street of Navia, very close to the center of the town. Parking was easy since we parked right outside the hotel door. José at the front desk was extremely nice and eager to share information on the area. Our room was on the first floor and was spacous, airy, and clean. Wi-fi connection was quick. The bathroom and shower were large, modern, and very clean. We didn't have breakfast.

Hotel consists of new and old building. I got room in old building that is really historical and gives feeling of the great past times. I enjoyed this old style but I believe it may not be nice expecrience for all (walls are not good enough and I heard someone snoring in room next to me). Room and bathroom are spacious. Breakfast with local specialties - fresh orange juice, tortilla, bread, hamon, cheese, home made cakes. Free parking space in fron of the building or in underground garrage.
