Wonderful location

The place itself was lovely, food let this place down on a major scale , we ate out everyday its was so bad , rooms where fine although could do with a bit of tlc, beds where uncomfortable,the restaurant was like a free for all , food was cold , nothing was covered , and the eating area was far too small for the amount of people staying there , there where hundreds of wasps buzzing around the drinks machines ! The barman pored gin all over the machines to help get rid of them but they just came back ! These where the children's drink machines! The afternoon snacks where the only thing our children ate , wouldn't return although we made the best of it , could be a lovely family hotel if they sorted the food out ,

The restaurant was like a canteen, we had raw food, same food every night, not covered, were expected to leave by 9pm, the food was scrapped off plates next to our table. Accommodation was very below standard, bathroom was outdated, taps were corroded, our 16 year old son was expected to sleep on a sofa in sitting room. Electrics were unsafe. Bar was awful, more like a bingo room, no adult entertainment. The staff were rude did not want to know about our complaints. THOMAS COOK complaints procedure has been useless, not interested, would never go again with them. We wasted our money, we spent so much on eating out as we had no choice due to raw, unacceptable food. Never again!!

Nice clean friendly hotel. Good food. Excellent staff. Choice of pools. Alcohol not much choice. More for families than couples. No lifts. Spacious rooms with kettle and fridge. Entertainment from the reps.

Very disappointing

Unfortunately, this holiday fell way below expectations. Whilst I can overlook the broken tiles, and damaged doors and walls in an apartment that badly needs a complete overhaul, I cannot excuse the low standard of food. I went with my daughters for the last week in October. At best, the food was like a third rate canteens food, but there were always flies in the area, (and often in the yogurt bowl). No insect traps anywhere, and no hand sanitizer. All of our other holidays have these easily implemented items. Goodness knows how bad it would have been in the summer heat!
So my youngest daughter fell ill after 2 nights and was vomiting all night. She became very dehydrated, and disorientated so we had to have the doctor called. This , along with the medication prescribed cost €195 . This ruined our holiday , it was not even a low cost holiday , as with the medical costs , the price was higher than our last 4, or 5 star holidays. And the difference between this and a 4 star is immense. So will never go 3* again. I had thought Thomas Cook was so much better than this. My other daughter, returned with no less than 32 insect bites all over her body. These were mostly mosquito bites, along with bed bug bites. I survived with milder stomach aches, and a handful of bites!
The only good thing about the holiday was the weather, however had to spend the best part of 3days in the apartment looking after my daughter., so couldn't even enjoy that properly.
However, I must applaud the maids who did a good job, considering the state of everything. There was a towel origami swan once ,and an elephant another time. The location was good too.
However, the place needs serious renovations, and particularly the dining facilities need a dramatic overhaul. In England, the environmental health officers would shut it down, so a 3star rating is not deserved.

I believe you get what you pay for! We did with this hotel Its a self catering apartment trying to be all inclusive!
First the accommodation was very dated in desperate need of an upgrade however it was clean and spacious we had a 1 bed apt.
Food was reasonable until the last two days they were clearly running out of stuff so choice was not as good as it had been.
All 3 Pools were great no issues there!
Staff were again were ok no problems so we didn't really have anything to do with them
The one area I was really unhappy with was the water it's awful I think it must be from the sea as when you shower you can taste the salt.
The hotel is in a lovely position though after going the long way into town we found a short cut that made it much easier.
The beach nearby is tiny but really nice we got to see plenty of fish snorkelling
I would not go back but that's simply because I prefer to explore different places
