Well I can honestly say it is without a doubt the easiest review to write.
I stayed at the Apollo hotel overnight, sampling the food in the brasserie restaurant .
For starter I had the most amazing cream of mushroom soup it was served by very friendly staff and hot bread that accompanied it perfectly.
For my main I had pan fried salmon and vegetables. The presentation was incredible, colours, smells & you could tell the chef was passionate with the quality of food coming out of his kitchen.
I even felt it necessary to personally thank the chef.
I travel all over the country staying in many hotels, I have eaten in many restaurants. However, I have not felt compelled to write a review about them.
The exception this time is the restaurant staff were very attentive,the food was amazing. The atmosphere was chilled.
Thanks to all in the restaurant and the AMAZING chef.

We attended a charity evening event here for Burns Night and decided to book to stay the night so we could have a few drinks. Friendly service. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Spa area looked good but we did not have time to try it. It was also good value. Paid £44 for a double room for the night which included breakfast.

Our Charity Event was a Burns Night Dinner which was an outstanding success. The Apollo went out of their way to make sure this was a fantastic night and far exceeded our expectations.
Thank you to the management and the staff at the Apollo for a great evening. I must compliment the chef; the food was delicious, hot and tasty.
The service from the catering staff was excellent and the hotel staff helpful and courteous.
The Apollo is an excellent venue for fundraising events and we look forward to working with you again to raise funds to help the people of Basingstoke who have cancer.

We stayed here in December. The hotel was clean, comfortable, modern and really affordable. They offered 24 hour room service and a brilliant breakfast the next day- couldnât ask for much more!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Allowed an early check in before we went off to a wedding.

Staff are lovely especially on the reception area, pleasant, rooms are clean and if there is a problem it is dealt with in a prompt manner.
Buffet breakfast food is ok but its a rip off when wanting room service as there is a £5 charge for the food to be delivered to your room...why.....surely that should be part of the service. What next....why not charge extra for use of the bed linen or using the cutlery in the dining area?
