I stayed at this hotel a few months and gave it a very average review and I can confirm it continues to be average. Lots of drilling and work going on until 8 or 9pm at night with no advance warning to guests. Lots of noise in the corridors early in the morning caused by staff members (ground floor). One morning there was no hot water.
On the positive side the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was good. That said the hotel management need to get their act together as there is plenty of choice in Bucahrest. I gave this hotel 2 chances and there will not be a 3rd.

I've stayed here several times on business trips and always been very pleased. It has lots of character and is quite 'traditional' but comfortable and the staff are all very nice.
Rooms are very spacious, almost like suites and are nice and clean.
makes a pleasant change from the 'global standard' hotels.
it doesn't have a lift because of the quirkiness of the old building but that's not too much of a bother.

Beautiful building with antiquity design & furniture, large rooms, top quality breakfast, kind & helpful personnel. Situated in a nice neighborhood, close to the centre . I strongly recommend it! Congrats!

It is a lovely little hotel with very helpful and friendly stuff. But the best of it is the restaurant - very charming, intimate, a happy little place where you can enjoy excellent dinner at affordable prices. From chicken soup to foie gras, from vol-au-vent to national dishes and chocolate cake made by chef.

Yery quiet hotel with nice terrace in front and on 1st floor.
Very close to the Arc de Triomphe.
Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, very good breakfast.
Perfect recommendation, but unfortunately had no Eleanor so only 4 out of 5...
