This Hotel is located 1.5 KMs from Mall road. You get the closeness of the mall road and away from the noise and crowd at the same time,. Best this about this Hotel- they provide free shuttle to the mall road whenever u need. (8 am to 8 pm). The food in this hotel was very nice, be it breakfast of Dinner buffet. Food was lovely.
Only thing I did not like about this was the maintenance. As the property is old it needs serious maintenance. The lock of both our rooms were not working which they replaced later. The water jugs in the room had white stains. Drinking glass in the room were not clean., etc. It was not the value for money what we paid for this Hotel. Otherwise liked the overall stay apart from the maintenance as the staff was cooperative to change things which were not properly maintained. Best thing- it was very very cold and their room heater was not doing enough heat so they provided with heating electric blankets.!! Thanks for that @Arif Castle management.

Hotel is good. I was in this hotel for 3 nights and it was a great experience.rooms very clean and designed in a classic look.food was good and service was too great.hotel is in good area.me and my family very enjoy in this hotel.

Went for a short trip to Nainital after 6 years and choosed this hotel. Hotel is one of the oldest in Nainital. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice and spacious. Breakfast and dinner was ver limited and was not of a four star category. The gentry was not good during dinner and breakfast . It seemed that some group tour was on. Hotel is ver far off from mall buy hotel provides its shuttle free of cost till 8.00 . But what dissapointed us was that our car which was standing at one corner in parking was banged by some drunken driver at night and it resulted in a huge dent on bonnet. We complained at the reception also but no help ...compensation....or at least getting the dent repaired offered. The car was in the hotel parking....standing....and it's hotels duty to see that at least no drunken taxi driver hits your guests car. We had to spend a good amount to get the dent repaired. The hotel is not anymore elite...and privileged like it used to be before. The management can check from reception. We even asked the reception guy to call senior person....but they were busy! Left with unpleasant memories....

Not even a single point which can be said satisfactory about this hotel. Very bad location, to reach at the hotel by foot you need to climb steep slope. Very rude manager, not even ready to listen guest complaints. Very bad reception, as promised in the plan welcome drink, water and fruit basket was served after multiple requests.
Dirty rooms, average food. Poor pick and drop service, you will have to wait for pick up for hours with false promises being made by vehicle coordinator. Avoid this hotel if you plan to enjoy/relax in your trip.

I was in this hotel for 2 nights and it was a great experience. Rooms were clean and designed in a classic royal look. Food was good and service was too great. Spa was reasonable and amazing. Hotel is in good area so you will have good space to take a walk. It has kids and sports section. Gym and Spa is on same place. In my entire stay, service was too great.
There are few things which you have consider when you book this hotel.
1. Never use hotel name directly while navigation. It will show you a different route by which you will never reach to this hotel. Best to navigate to Mannu Maharani and then navigate to this hotel.
2. View from all rooms are not so good. And Suits don't have balconies.
3. If you are driving your own car, then from Mannu Maharani there is very steep way to this hotel because it is on good height. If you think you will not be able to made it. Call hotel and they will send someone who will take your car to the hotel.
