Amazing Hosts, Stunning Views

John and Wilbert were the most fantastic hosts and really make this hotel one to remember! The hotel is set in a peaceful location, with absolutely stunning views! I would recommend a room upstairs - as a couple, there was nothing more romantic than waking up to the divine view on offer. A generous breakfast, both varied and delicious sets you up for a perfect day of exploration! 5 stars*****
A Fantastically Peaceful Stay

We stayed in the Arriadh Hotel for three nights, and enjoyed every moment of it. The rooms were well appointed and clean. We especially liked the upstairs modern styled rooms, as you can lay in bed and look out through the veranda doors across the valley in mornings. The view is stunning. The bathroom in these rooms is separated by frosted glass panels. If you prefer the more traditional en-suite bathroom facilities, the rooms downstairs are designed this way.
The owners, Wilbert and John, are incredibly helpful and great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We enjoyed the breakfasts which were plentiful and tasty. We especially enjoyed the home-made banana bread.
The hotel is well appointed and offers inside and outside eating. There is a bar that stocks most drinks and even some speciality local beers. There are leather chairs and sofas in the bar area for a pleasant evenings drink should you not want to spend the evening looking at the stars. Although we did not use it, there is a swimming pull complete with sun loungers that overlook the valley.
There is ample parking on site. Some other reviewers have mentioned a problem with Google Maps directing you to an unsuitable track. The simplest way is to set your Satnav to 36.791711, -5.137151. and follow the sign to the hotel on the right.
Although the hotel is located up a track on the outskirts of the village, the village can be walked to in about 10 minutes. There are some very pleasant walks around the village and surrounding area. Wilbert can direct you to them. We particularly enjoyed the canyon walk.
The local village (Arriate) has many bars and eateries that can be accessed. Should you decide to go to the very popular EL Meulle de Arriate, ask Wilbert to make a reservation for you. It is rightly very popular.

We stayed one night and were immediately amazed by the absence of sounds. This remote hotel is a 10 minute drive from Ronda, providing the best of both worlds. The very friendly owners take hospitality and service to the next level. Our room was beautiful and its large windows open to great views over the mountains.

If this is what you are looking for this is the place for you. The Arriadh Hotel is a haven on the hillside above the village of Arriate.
I visited this hotel, for 2 nights, with my sister and we were in one of the 3 downstairs rooms. The room was clean and modern with doors opening directly onto the terrace with fantastic views over the mountains. The lovely continental breakfast was served on the terrace by the owners, John and Wilbert, who were friendly and exceptionally welcoming and always on hand to help or answer questions. The infinity pool was clean and and again you could take advantage of the views. The highlight for me was sitting on the terrace late at night, with a glass of wine without any sound at all.
Gorgeous 2 night stay while visiting Ronda

My friend and I drove 5 and a half hours from Torrevieja to Ronda and stayed in the Arriadh to base ourselves. We had a fabulous stay, loved the views, the pool and the breakfast ... all were highlights. It was an excellent base only 10 mins drive from Ronda ... tho I feel a car is really needed to stay here as it's real countryside... as in ... up a steep hill on a countrylane kind of rural.
Also Google maps takes you down the wrong lane (very doggy and really needs a 4x4) ... so best to put the town of Arriate in on maps and once there you can find the hotel. The views really were gorgeous and it was lovely to relax there in the evening after a days sight seeing. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly and kind ... in a very welcoming way that's professional and still puts you at ease ... this place has a real homely feel to it. Only drawback to the stay was no aircon. Everything else was perfect.
