This was the worst hotel of our trip. It's located in a shanty part of the town. Most shops closed between 5-6pm. Streets were dirty, dark and scary around the hotel. In our opinion, there's no star rating for this hotel - less than zero "0" - negative rating.
The rooms were terribly small, cramped with old furniture, mattresses and absolutely no room for luggage. There was no tea, coffee, toiletries or hair dryer. The bathroom had no hot water and there's no heating in the rooms.
Since my husband was sick, we requested for a heater and we received an old electric heater which smelled when switched on - safety hazard!!!
The hotel has only one elevator â old, cramped and can only fit 1 person and 2 suitcases. We had to go up 3 flights of stairs, carrying our own suitcases.
The dining room was a restaurant outside the hotel, a block around the corner where they served b/fast and dinner. There was not enough room for all our tour group so we had to wait several hours before we could get a seat to have our dinner. Food was terrible. Only 2 staff - one person serving and another cooking, preparing food behind the counter.
The dining room manager insisted on leaving the main door open despite it being terribly cold. Front desk/reception staff, kitchen staff etc. did not speak English so it was very difficult to communicate.
We would NOT recommend anyone to go to this hotel. It is truly disgusting.

Worst Hotel to stay in Haifa ... I would rate it Zero star!!! Rooms were small, you cannot move with your luggage.. everything was bad. Please don't stay in this Hotel.... I don't recommend anyone to stay.

Nice place, Nice rooms, good service, there are baths in the rooms, the only problem was the toilet room, that had weird smell (bad smell). The breakfast is being served in a small resturant near the hotel.

Pretty run down, rooms very very tiny, barely fit the bed, no room to move around with luggage in the room. The clerk who checked us in was very helpful, but the girl on duty when we left was Russian and didn't speak English - it was a challenge dealing with her. Beds and bathroom were clean. No Wifi access unless you went up on the terrace on the roof. No toiletries offered. Neighborhood closed down at 6pm so nothing is open that you can walk to. The German Colony has a lot of restaurants, but is a 20-30 minute walk up and down very high hills. We drove. After seeing other areas of Haifa, we realized this hotel was in the slummiest part of the city - abandoned buildings, others were very run down, very dirty. Parking was behind the hotel, down a very tight alley. Would not recommend.

Not much in terms of amenities, just a nice basic hotel at a fantastic price. A really good buy and the location is safe and feels like being in a real Israeli community. I would definitely book there again.
