Location and rooms are great and well kept. Receptionists are good. You couldn't help but think that outside of that no one is in charge or control. Tried to get a drink at bar but couldn't get served. Waited for ages to get into the restaurant another night but no one came near us. On both occasions we had to leave. Breakfast service also bit chaotic . As, I say none of bar or breakfast staff appears to have any direction. Really couldn't believe it in a 5 star.

A nouveou decor boutique hotel. fun, quirky and extremely stylish. Perfect location because it's just opposite the Central station and walking distance from the centre.
Great food and the staff are more than amazing.

Right by the main railway station and many attractions. The whole hotel is packed with art - cool, fun, fresh, surprising ... Large (to be Amsterdam), quiet and beautifully decorated room, nice bathroom. Service-minded and helpful staff. Very nice common areas, lounge, restaurant and bar. Great breakfast and good dinner in the restaurant. Free use of pool and sauna.
One of my top 3 hotel experiences - I would love to stay here again!

This place is in the perfect location for exploring Amsterdam. It is right across from Centraal station and in the heart of the Old Town. The service was great, Jamal (gen. manager) was superb and friendly and the entire staff was very helpful from great places to eat to bike rentals etc. Can't wait to be back!

- No room upgrade for Club Carlson Concierge. Even worse, being lied by the manager that al higher category rooms / suites were fully booked. I wasn't fool enough not to check the availability during that day through Club Carlson app.
- Said they gave iconic art room which is facing the Central station but that includes the annoying noise from Amsterdam tram.
- Poor welcome gift for Club Carlson members (stroopwaffel from supermarket)
- Poor breakfast choices, and seriously, the hot breakfast it has to be ordered on the table? The buffet contains only the cold breakfast.
- The only positive thing about this hotel is the location in front of Amsterdam centraal.
Conclusion: I'm not coming back.
