The hotel has a art base and this is evident throughout the whole place. It makes the place interesting. The rooms are small but have all you need, they are clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning also. The restaurant was well catered and the staff were helpful. A good mix of food including some western. Free drinking water was supplied in the room. The only downside is that the rooms are not double glazed so all the outside noise from the streets below transmits inside easily. Ask for a internal room.

Clean, Helpful Staff. I booked thru Agoda and incidentally booked on the wrong month. Hotel reception staff help me to change the date by asking Agoda to amend booking to the correct date and month. Very helpful reception lady, my two thumbs for her. Thank you.

Nice rooms, clean and quite spacious, bathroom is also clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They have plenty of breakfast options, taste okay. Located near main street. Stayed here during business trip and overall the experience was pretty good!

Hotel is located around 30 minutes drive from the hotel and is within walking distance to Surabaya Town Square.
There is a nice cafe (Coffee with Louis) just next to the hotel.
Arrived in the hotel in the late morning and find the design of the lobby pretty interesting.
Room was very average and not much View so nothing much to shout about.
Breakfast was very Indonesian so I didn't eat much other than fruits and cereals.
Air-con was constantly off after 10pm at night so it was not the best place to host business guests.
Will only consider this hotel again when the whole town is full.
Suitable for people who love arty farty stuff.

An overall stay of two nights has surely made me wanting to stay longer! The hotel has a unique ambiance and atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in a cartoon which obviously brings back childhood memories. However there are parts of the room that needs better maintenance as I saw that in our room a part of the wallpaper under the bed peeled off which made the room look outdated. Overall happy and obviously recommending this hotel to family and friends.
