The Astrid Centre Hotel Brussels is located just 250 meters away from De Brouckere metro station and 700 meters away from Grand Place. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms and facilities are OK. We decided that breakfast is a bit overpriced, so we got a waffle and cup of coffee outside for just a few euros.

This hotel is not exactly cheap being located in a prime spot, however some aspects need to be upgraded. The lift for example is very old and dated, just like the bathrooms, which look dirty even when cleaned. The beds are also on small side and are on wheels. Staff is very corteous and rooms are kept clean. The breakfast is way too expensive for the quality you receive, so best get one at a nearby cafe.

We arrived by Eurostar just after the terrorism attacks, security was high but it was business as usual but less visitors.Staff weremore than helpful and the hotel is perfectly situated close to the sights and lots of really good restuarants and very close to Metro ticket office and stations. Hotel is not new but clean & tidy and more than adequate breakfast including hot items

My boyfriend had booked us a double room with a single bed, and we arrived to find our room had two twin beds that could be pushed together. That was not what we wanted or booked.
The room itself was old and nothing special. The bathroom is especially dated. Also, our safe was broken in the room.
The only redeeming factor is that the hotel has a great central location that makes it easily accessible on foot or metro.

Firstly on arrival.... I was told the double room I booked couldn't be accommodated as "we are fully booked sir" and was told the two single beds that would be in my room could be "pushed together".... I then explained a double room was booked for myself and my girlfriend and that I was expecting what I booked.... I was then told again this couldn't be accompanied even though that's what i paid for... So eventually I gave up and ask for a double duvet for me two single beds that will
Be pushed together like explained by the receptionist... I was then told, there was no spare double duvet.... They were also "booked out".... So my girlfriend and I had to sleep in two single beds pushed together with two separate single duvets to share.....
Stay away from this place! Management or the front office staff showed no interest in complying with your booking or any additional requests, which should be the exact two things they take most seriously.
