I was here for overnight stay with my Accenture corporate team for a total of 20+ people on a weekday. With little crowd, we had the swimming pool to ourselves. The rooms were clean and the basic amenities worked well. My team appreciated the adventure games (like Burma Bridge), the homely and tasty food and the common room converted into a discotheque!
One unique asset to this place is Mishra ji, who goes out of his way to ensure your comfort and has a pleasing personality. I spent some good time with him listening about his extensive experience and very entertaining stories. (Tip: Ask him to call the ducks out with his voice command, for feeding. Its an awesome sight!)
While I have rated this property as 5 stars, I would like to provide one feedback for improvement - the management should setup faster processing of card payments. We tried for over an hour on two days before the payment could be processed due to network issues. I would suggest to get a better machine or enable online option onsite.
Went here again, this time boys only. Great experience

Pros
1. Food is excellent. Tastes better than many good restaurants
2. We all guys stayed in a tent and it was fine. Maintained to a decent level. So no problem here
3. Staff is very friendly
4. No one disturbs you, especially in a tent. Families usually stay in the rooms near garden. Boys should take tents. Complete freedom. Play music, drink, enjoy
5. If you are boys only, go ahead and book a tent. You wont regret.
6. Pool is good
Cons
1. The DJ area is bad. Speakers are really bad and volume is uncontrolled and hurts your ears
2. Resort is pretty decent- not luxury as such, but good.
3. Archery and all were broken- so that has to be taken care by hotel staff
4. caroms were damaged. Almost all
Overall its a very good place to go. Boys or families both. Safe secure and good
A WONDERFUL TIME SPENT :)

Located near Nere village, Panvel the Atasa Resort was one of the best outings my parents and I had in a long time. Usually when we visit a resort, we think of an artificial theme, average food and relaxation for some time. Atasa is very different from any other resort in the vicinity of Mumbai and now I will tell you what makes me say this. The major USPs why we felt this experience was, the brilliant customer service, palatable food and a panoramic view along with a countryside feel. The resort has a beautiful natural landscape, which is difficult to find in the outskirts of Mumbai wherein a river flows along with hills in the background. During the monsoons, you can see the mist passing through the hills and feel the winds while hearing the fast flowing river water. The food here is both good quality as well as quantity. You will rarely hear this about any resort that people are content with its food, Atasa ensures to make way to your heart through your stomach. And finally, the customer experience. The resort is managed by a Mr. PK Mishra (popularly called Mishraji) who is a tremendous person. Recall that I visited the place with my parents. They're senior citizens), and we were looking for a peaceful time away from the Mumbai congestion. Throughout our time in Atasa, Mishraji ensured that there was no discomfort to us. All the above mentioned points left a long lasting impression on us. If you ever want to move away from the chaos of the city not too far, do try this place. It also has a swimming pool and adventure games that will keep you going. Apart from all this Bhai's (Salman Khan) farmhouse is few minutes away from the place. Hope you too have a good time :)
