My wife & I have stayed at Bali Segara about 6 times in the past and always found it ideal for our needs, hence the repeat visits. This trip we stayed here 3 nights upon arrival from Auckland from 25/7/17 to 28/7/17 and again a month later for 3 nights when we missed our homeward flight due to flight delays from Lombok. Pak Agus and the other staff are so helpful and friendly and they always meet us off our flight and drop us back to the airport. So efficient and easy. Usually it is only a 5 minute drive to the airport and you can't get better than that especially the way Bali traffic is these days. We always book a deluxe double room which is plenty big enough and very comfortable and at the price it has to be the best value for money in Bali. The bathrooms are basic but clean & serviceable. The swimming pool is a big plus and is kept so clean you could probably drink out of it. The small garden & table area around the pool and restaurant is clean and peaceful and it is a pleasant place to have breakfast. The food at the restaurant is fairly simple and basic but there are many very good eating places just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Turn right and on Jalan Dewi Sartika you have some of the best local food 'warungs' in Bali. Don't miss the fantastic 'martabak' available in the evenings at Warung Muslim on Dewi Sartika. Turn left out of the hotel and you have the Bali tourist type restaurants on the German Beach Road. The hotel is located down one of the small lanes off Jln Dewi Sartika and is a bit hidden but that makes for a quiet location. All the taxis know where it is though. Wifi available in the restaurant / foyer area only. . We will certainly be back again next year.

We stayed here after a late flight in to Denpasar airport (11 pm). Although it is very close to the airport, it was very difficult to figure out how to walk, as there were multiple lanes of traffic and traffic circles to navigate. Definitely got jipped taking a taxi here, as the cheapest we could find was $10 US, and the hotel was very close. We booked the suite with two rooms and it was a little older but roomy and comfortable. Bedding linens were older and a little tattered, but overall clean. Hotel is very close to money exchange spot and convenience store (short 5 minute walk). Overall, I would stay here again if looking for airport proximity before or after a flight.

Disappointing to say the least. We booked this hotel to be near to the airport (which it certainly is) encouraged by it's rating on Booking.com, and it's competitive price. If our room (213) at the top of very steep stairs is typical our advice is find somewhere else. The bathroom was appalling - like something from 1970's Bali. We were also very disappointed that they charged us for a shuttle to the airport despite advertising on their website that they offer FREE AIRPORT TRANSFERS. The amount they charged was not the issue - it was the principle of being misled by false advertising.

This hotel was quite hard for us to find, but once we got there we had no complaints! Comfortable rooms, and a nice pool. Complimentary drinks was certainly a welcomed bonus. And as it is just a stone's throw from the airport we managed to save some money on transport as it's just an easy 10 minute walk away.

I loved everything about the place: the very nicely decorated lounge was all open and the floor had a slope leading out to the pool, beautifully set in lush gardens. It was quiet, and the rooms were perfect, with a balcony and view of the pool. The staff were extremely nice, and helpful, and Agus in particular was all smiles and super friendly. I would definitely stay there again, in fact we did come back there, to hang out and enjoy the happy hour while waiting for our plane.
