It is a smallish hotel tucked in a busy street. Accessibility all over Male is a problem because of the narrow streets and perhaps that is a problem for most hotels inside the city. Rooms are okay but the service is slow. No great views as well.

Nice hotel in the center of Male, rooms very comfortable, all the needed amenities, (though this is not luxury, you won't lack for comfort). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was large buffet with lots of good food, both the excellent Maldivian tuna and coconut dish, plus plenty of other Maldivian and western specialties. Great coffee. Hotel provided free pickup and drop off to/from airport which was nice unexpected surprise.

Comfortable rooms and great staff. Stayed for a few nights and was very happy with the service. Upon arrival at the airport, they took care of everything from getting ,my luggage and I on the ferry to transport to the hotel. The young lady who is works the breakfast service is fantastic. She remembered how I liked my coffee and eggs after the first day. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We have used the Beehive extensively on business. The Hotel is great, the rooms comfortable and clean. The staff are amazing and really helpful. Guys if you need a haircut the barber opposite is great

The hotel is run down and rather dirty in the common areas. The inside of the elevator looked like it hadnât been cleaned in months. The reception area looks a bit shabby and has seen better days. The rooms on the 7th and last floor have balconies and views. If you lean out of it you can see the ocean a bit. Otherwise you have views on the two huge construction sites where works start at dawn and will continue until late at night. Donât go for the corner room, since it has a weird appendix of a balcony, canât even put a chair or anything. Well, at least you will get some air and will be as far as possible from the crazy trafic.
The room was spacious enough, but shabby. It also seemed that nothing in the room is made for the comfort of guests. The cord of the electrical cattle provided is to short to plug it in on the table or nightstand. The only place you can plug it in is under the table or on the floor next to the wardrobe. The coffee machine was broken and replaced with a less broken one that still looked like it was going to fall to pieces and made an awful noise.
The bathroom was big with basic amenities. Took literally 15 min to get the hot water running.
The interior of the room has seen better days. You can see traces of old removed furniture or paint spots.
The internet connection was bad, it would disappear for 15 min then come back for a while and then disappear again.
Food at the restaurant was ok but limited options for breakfast and à la carte portions are small for what you pay.
Staff was nice, helpful and accommodating.
Overall not good value for money and wouldnât recommend it.
