Stayed for 1 night on January. The bed was uncomfortable as well as the pillows. It is a wee while out of town. Good room size. The owners were helpful, when we went to check out the office did smell like cat urine.

Yet again at our favourite Hanmer Motel. This motel is located on the way into the town and is about a 10 minute walk from the shopping centre. Two minutes up the road is a bar and restaurant which makes local dining a treat. The host is very knowledgeable and has a good fount of information about the local area and environs - such as Molesworth.
We will be back again soon as we travel to Hanmer regularly.

This motel was quiet - located out of town, a good walk into town. Views of mountains lovely. Friendly owners. Bathroom spacious! Motel room otherwise small. You may need to book ahead on weekends for more luxury closer to town accommodationWe only stayed one night.

The owner was very helpful. The bed was super comfy. The shower was a little cracked at the top, wondering if it was just the paint or something more. Only 2 devices allowed on the wifi, one actually didn't work. The view was stunning though.

Easy to find right on the main road. A bit of a stroll but still a walking distance to the village. Lovely down to earth service. Everything I need in a motel and nothing I don't plus a fantastically hot strong shower.
