myself and a couple of friends bought the £99 overnight offer which included cream tea, dinner, 30m treatment and breakfast, it was great value for money and we really enjoyed it, I wasnt crazy about the food but it was ok. Service was friendly I would come again. I had a back massage by Marie, she was fantastic who gave me a brilliant/firm back massage. Loved the spa and facilities

Really liked staying here. The room was clean but the bathroom was shabby and in need of updating. Breakfast was lovely apart from the strange tasting orange juice, food hot and tasty. Also used the pool and jacuzzi which were both great after a busy day. Overall, a good stay.

People seem to complain about this hotel but my friends and I come here each year and always have a good time. For what you pay itâs good value. The place has character and is dated but thatâs part of the experience. The food is excellent and the spa treatments are great. Itâs a great all round 3 star hotel. Worth a visit just donât expect the ritz more like a comfy home from home.

I stayed here for a night last week; the location is good- set in lovely grounds leading down to the Brook, and just 10 minutes drive from the Town Centre and train station.
The building itself is grand, and the lobby as you walk in looks great- sadly, it stops there.
My 2nd floor room located down a soulless corridor which stank of cigarette smoke was small, dull or poorly maintained. Paint peeling from the walls, a grotty shower, no extra pillow or towels, tatty furniture and everything done on the cheap.
The bar is pleasant and had more character, and the staff were friendly but despite being open 24hrs, it shut at 11pm as the night porter didn't turn up. After the receptionist went home the hotel seemed abandoned, and the lobby occupied by a lady in a wheelchair who sleeping by a table into the early hours.
Breakfast did little to change the experience- poor quality cooked food, hot drinks and pastries not replenished and orange juice which tasted bizarrely like neat vodka.
I left dissatisfied and hope never to have to return. It may be relatively cheap, but youd get more for your money at a Travelodge.

Just joined the leisure centre again 5th year running with my son who has special needs. Nothing is too much trouble for Adam and his team. They certainly go the extra mile to accommodate us. Always friendly and spend extra time explaining and helping my son. We love relaxing around the pool with a nice latte. The pool is great and the hot tub is a firm favourite with both of us, followed by a sauna or the steam room. Great equipment in the gym too. It all has such a friendly feel with such lovely staff. They also have a small children's pool which is great as I sometimes take my granddaughter. Can't wait for the summer when we can sit and sunbathe in the garden which is ajoining to the pool. Thank you Adam and your team for making my membership so enjoyable.
