I spend 3 nights at this hotel. The first 2 nights were terrible, a small room downstairs with a terrible tabacco smell. Especially in the bathroom people had been smoking. The shower was broken and you had to hold the shower in your hand. Unfortunately the desk manager did not take it to seriously and besides that, the hotel was fully booked?
After another complaint i was given another room for the last night, which was acceptable.
The breakfast was ok.
Being a holder of a Best Western membership card, i must state this hotel should not use â Best Westernâ in its name......

I gave this as low a rating as I could and I suppose the gentleman at the desk in the evening would support this, but this location is an embarrassment to the BW name.
The young lady at the desk on check in was very unwelcoming and we needed to pry information from her as none was forthcoming.
We were placed on the upper floor and when we asked about a lift she smiled and said there is none.
I packed the bags up the stairs and as we started down the hall we noticed that the lift was there...it just was not functioning. the door was partially open and it was full of ??stuff??
The corridor walls are decorated with cheap photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Elvis Presley from the 1950's, possibly originals from when the hotel opened!
Got to our room and voila! old unventilated room stink! Sorry that is the only word for it...stink.
We rolled our eyes and kept our mouths shut as we needed to be at Schiphol in the morning and had no alternative.
I went out to walk around the grounds and what a mess! Overgrown shrubs, weeds garbage everywhere! Thought I better get back inside before i get attacked by someone I disturb!
After a completely uncomfortable night in a bed that absolutely sucked, we went down for the included breakfast...good grief! I tried to make toast and the lady running the breakfast came along and said the toaster is "kaput". Get the thing fixed if it is broken!
That gives an indication as to how the rest of the "breakfast" went.
As I said the evening staff gentleman was very polite and helpful directing us to restaurants for supper. Too bad they were all closed!
Best Western, you need to send someone to view this property and have your name removed from it...or sink several hundred euros into renovations.
While your at it have "airport" removed from the description....It is miles away and nowhere near the airport.
I would include photos, but I see they are already posted.
I do not recommend this location in any way.

We were minding our own business waiting in the lobby awaiting for our rooms to be checked in. Whilst an old man working for the hotel kept walking past us shaking his head at us in a very disapproving. This was extremely rude, unacceptable and so unprofessional. We felt so unwelcome. Disgusting customer service

Unfortunately hotels in direct surrounding of Schipohl airport were fully booked. This allowed the experience of this hotel.
It is not an Airport Hotel! the price was relatively high compared to quality - paid 110⬠- it was worth less than 40â¬. this hotel may have seen better days some years ago. Seems the owner has not invested for some time.
Better stay somewhere.

lovely staff, lovely place, very peaceful area, room was beautiful, was in the corner of hotel, all glass windows with a beautiful view, super spacious room and bathroom, not cheap though but I totally recommend
