My husband and I stayed here on a business trip to Chennai in January 2018. This is not a posh hotel, but it is adequate for business travelers. The hotel manager and staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower has warm to hot water with excellent water pressure. Basic amenities provided, including a hair dryer, shampoo and lotion. Bottles of water and fruit were provided in our room daily. Wifi was easily accessible, although at certain times of the day, it was faster than others. We were able to utilize wifi to Facetime family back home daily, without much difficulty.
Food in the restaurant has a lot of options. Breakfast buffet has a lot of Indian hot food options, which were all quite tasty. For non-Indian food lovers, there was always a delicious omelet bar and a cold cereal option with fresh fruit. The dinner menu was quite extensive, offering varied Indian and non-Indian options, including fish and chips and a cheese sandwich.
Overall, this is hotel that meets your needs, but the attentiveness and courtesy of the staff puts it above average. The price is very reasonable. We will stay again for our return trip.

Enter Beverly and you are taken to an era bygone with colonial flare. Look around the lobby and you see an antique telephone,the staff seem to have been around for a long time,the seating area beckons conversation.
The rooms are average sized,clean with neat toilets. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom is an added bonus.
What is best about the room is that the windows can be opened to let in fresh air and the view of parrots in the morning.
Breakfast area could be lit better to allow natural light in.Food is tasty with quick service.
The staff is very friendly,trying their best to accommodate requests with a smile on their faces.
Definitely worth coming back when in Chennai-absolute value for money.
The metro station is right around the corner with connectivity to the airport.

We had a great time in Chennai and staying at the Beverly Hotel was a great place to crash from the hustle and bustle of the day. The staff are so gracious. From the bell hops, to the door man, and the kitchen and restaurant staff, you will not walk away unhappy. The entire staff is there to serve you in all ways they can.

Supposed to write below average but the Top management attitude earned average.
Prime location is the only advantage.
The Top management seems to be trying revive the business but the middle management (supervisors) not bothered. This attitude terribly visible in the restaurant.
Restaurant service and chef's attitude horrible.
Very Average hotel.

Located at about 40 minutes drive from Cennai airport. Clean and tidy with very friendly staff & service. Hosekeeping is very good. Clean sheets and towel. Complimentary toiletries , coffee, tea and bottled water daily replenished. Newspaper etc. Reasonable cost with corporate discounts. Tasty food with varieties at the pacifica restaurant. Conveiently located on Poonamallee High Road near Ega theatre and is a few minutes drivd from the Egmore train station as well.
The only drawback was slow wi fi connection.
