Amazing villas in the middle of the jungle with great view,
Nice decorated villas and well maintained facilities

We are an Indian couple, living in Dubai. We have had a fair share of travel and didn't know the difference between pampering and service until we visited Bidadari! They pamper their guests like crazy. Initially we had a bit of a mix up since we booked via Agoda and got a very sweet deal but later the resort denied us the deal saying it was a mistake from their end. After a few emails exchanged with the resort and Agoda it was sorted out.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the receptionist in person near the entry where the car was parked. This didn't happen only on our initial arrival but everytime we entered the hotel after our tours or even dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We easily got our drop to the city centre arranged by the hotel free of cost by calling the reception from the mobile phone (provided by hotel) and they were prompt to pick us up everytime too! The staff were very helpful and made so many exceptions for our comfortable stay, like providing afternoon tea and snacks in the evening since we returned late from our tour and missed the afternoon tea. The morning breakfast used to be no less than an event to witness. The selection could have been better is what we thought when we filled in the breakfast form the first night, but when it was served in the morning to us with the magnificent view we had from the villa and the way it was served, we could ask for nothing more but to start everyday of our life with this view, breakfast and smiling service. They left different types of cookies on our bedside every evening which was a sweet surprise for us. We dined in their resort once on our first dayand their food wasn't the best but much better than we expected. We couldn't thank the staff enough for their service to help us make our stay successful.
Now about the villa, the sweet people that they are, though we booked a regular villa, since their honeymoon villa was free for our first night there, they let us experience it. What an experience it was, I would say we really got to know the difference. One of the best part that i liked was the outdoor facilities in the villa. Words don't do it justice hence you need to experience it. The only possible complaint I would have is the Material of Construction on the swimming pool isn't very good and can scratch or scrape anyone with a soft skin and I recommend to change this.
The next day while we were on tour the staff moved our luggage to the originally booked villa which was very good too but we had already tasted the best we could so this felt like a compromise. One issue we had was that once we were in the bedroom we had to take some stairs down and then some stairs up to use the washroom which was a little inconvenient but I would ignore it if I had not seen the honeymoon villa which was so perfect. The swimming pool problem existed here too.
Location wise its not too far out from the main city considering transport is so easy to get. We didn't have a problem with the property being away from Ubud city centre since we had a car available at our call whenever we needed one.
Would I return to Bidadari? In a heartbeat!

One of the best experiences. I stayed there for 5 nights. I basically loved everything! The villa I had was comfortable, clean, relaxing with stunning views and superior service. The staff gave us a personal welcome, spoke excellent English and were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. They worked incredibly hard to meet every need. I was very impressed at how well they kept bugs and critters out, considering being literally in the middle of the jungle in an open air building. We were expecting a lot of bugs due to location. They were mostly a non issue. All the landscaping was exceptional. Beautiful mature plants integrated the structures seamlessly together with surrounding environment, without restricting views. This really added to the experience. We could easily tell that a lot of thought went into building design. The buildings sit nicely in the hillside as if they were meant to be there. Finishes include beautiful Balinese stone carvings, wood carvings and paintings. In our 5 day stay, it was easy to waste a day admiring our view, lazing around the pool and eating in the privacy of our villa. Check in and check out were also very easy.
In few words, Bididari is the perfect mix of luxury accommodation and immersion in Balinese culture. I would go back again in an instant. A big personal thank you to all the staff, Surya the friendly driver who took us around and the manager at Bidadari who made our stay truly unforgettable.

This place is incredible and lives up to all the reviews. The staff are brilliant, the views incredible and the villa we stayed was gorgeous. I cannot tell you how much we loved it. We had some friends staying in the town and the staff helped us arrange a 7 person dinner party - excellent food and service. If you are staying in Ubud it would be a mistake to stay anywhere but here. The team are wonderful - it feels very homely, private but with a town drop off / pick up included in the price very accessible. All the details have been thought-of. I will definitely be going back!

You won't go wrong staying at this beautiful location. Will try not to ruin all the wonderful & interesting surprises for you (but you could read the other reviews for spoilers!). Thank you to Mr Rana & all the staff - Dharma, Sudi, Darti, Komi, the fantastic chef & all the support staff. The kindness and smiles were enough for my family but there was so much more. Everything was smooth & efficient - check-in, luggage transfer, transport & a babysitter when we went to the very nice Locavore restaurant. Most services are priced for a luxury experience, so no point in comparing to typical street prices. They managed to keep us comfortable & happy even with 2 days of continuous rain. The special barbecue dinner was fabulous and we were delighted with the whole evening! We are so pleased that we chose to stay at Bidadari.
