Average service level. Rooms are decent. Not very appreciable food. Only choice for branded hotel search in Haldwani. Better than others or you can also call them best among all available in Haldwani city if compare with all other available options in this city.

Everything about this hotel that I experienced during my short stay of around 20 hours is pathetic (to say the least).
The highlighters of my worse experience are as follows:
1. Service is very poor
2. Almost everything in the Room and Bathroom either required to be replaced immediately or need a overhaul
3. Hot water supply is NOT 24 hours contrary to what is claimed (atleast it was so in my room)
4. Water was getting collected due to drainage issue. Inspite of me informing front desk about it, it wasn't fixed during the course of my stay
5. I wanted to have a Room heater and I was informed that there is only one blower in the hotel and which was not working (though they fixed it later on)
6. Next day morning, water supply and Tea/Coffee makersupplies were not refilled and its only upon asking that I was given a water bottle (it was a 1 litre bottle of regular water)
7. Room was not cleaned until 11:00AM and when I asked for the same, just the floor was broom cleaned
8. Milk (that I had to order for my kids) was overly priced
9. Curtains, Linen, Pillow covers, Towels - everthing was DIRTY. I am NOT saying that they were not propely cleaned, I am rather highlighting that they were DIRTY to the extent that can't bedescribed here
10. I was on my way back from Saataal, where I spent almost the same price for a room as I shelled out here but in terms of the service and cleanliness Clarks Inn was nowhere even closer to what I experienced in that far off remote location
11. There was some group staying in rooms around us and the lobby was quite noisy the whole night and we couldn't sleep almost the entire night. There was no control over this situation by Hotel Staff

We had chosen the hotel to celebrate the first birthday of my one year old twins.We had booked many rooms as well to accommodate our guests. The celebration was a hit primarily due to the excellent service provided by the hotel staff and the amazing dishes selected and cooked by the chef. The hotel is also conveniently located with sufficient parking space. The staff is very well behaved and very courteous. Overall, if you are looking for excellent service and mouth watering food - this is it!

Travelled with family of 3 in the month of October.I had taken 2 deluxe rooms and was promptly upgraded to 1 executive room from the front desk manager. Check in was smooth and fast.But everything that followed were nightmares.
The hotel is situated on the Rampur road and has a very narrow path for cars to enter and turn for the lobby area.
The matchbox sized rooms are in dire need of maintenance. The plumbing of one of our rooms was not working.The mattresses were very old and dirty and signs of wear and tear were evident enough. The reading lamps were not working and the toiletries were literally below average.
There's practically no view from the room.
I decided to take bath in the evening and was shocked to see no signs of hot water. On informing the reception, they replied that I should have informed them before taking a bath so that they could switch on the boiler. This means there is NO 24x7 hot water.
The bathrooms too are very small and I being a cleanliness freak found them utterly unhygienic.There was a lot of commotion at around 11:45 in the night on my floor because of which I couldn't sleep. On complaining to the manager, he replied in a very rude tone that nothing can be done for that.
Ice cubes is chargeable at around Rs 50.
The buffet breakfast was awful with not much of a variety and the laid back attitude. I am allergic to pineapple and they were serving only and only pineapple juice. I asked the chef if I could get something else, and without even any tries, the answer was 'NO'.The spread lacked variety and taste both. And the service at the breakfast area was pathetic.
The only thing I liked in my stay was the dinner. The food was good and reasonably priced with prompt service.The one extra star I'm giving is for the dinner
All in all, there's no point spending Rs 4000 for a room in this hotel.Not worth it

The stay was comfortable. The only handicap is taking wide bodied car into hotel porch as a number of manouveres are required. Room locker was non functional. Plumbing was in bad shape as shower was not functioning.
