Traveling with another couple & booked a two bedroom suite at the Bolton. The "master" suite was lovely, but the second bedroom was tiny. There was only one night stand & there was a wall abutment on the other side of the bed. All that said, the Bolton had the best toilet paper we have had in New Zealand so for.

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel, which is very near the parliament buildings and not too far from the Quay or city centre. The concierge was brilliant, helping with luggage, parking the car, and offering information about places to go. The rooms were lovely with a full range of cooking and laundry facilities and the beds were comfy and large. It is a business hotel with a small cafe and a reasonable selection at breakfast.

Good city location. Perfect for business in Wellington CBD. Good for tourists as well, but do imagine this is not a large hotel. Itâs cute lobby and bar are nice but bespoke. The hotel rooms are nice, hereâs the tip.
Ask for rooms facing the hills. I know this sounds odd, but the view west towards the cemetery and hills is beautiful and private. The view towards the city and sea sounds better, but really itâs a crowded view. Some lower rooms on the east side really are a bit dark. So cheapest rate rooms donât have a great view.

Stayed on a Saturday night with my partner.
Lovely decor, very comfortable bed and friendly staff. The hotel has a great central location and is very quiet. I did not eat at the restaurant but the food looked very nice.

Just checking in was a pleasant experience. Friendly staff with a genuine interest in providing a welcome and good service. Stayed one night in a very comfortable room with kitchenette (although not required). Did not take dinner but did eat breakfast which was not as wonderful as it could have been.
