So we had the unfortunate experience of this awful park recently when out of desperation for an overnight campervan stay we came accross this horrible place which can only be described as a trailer trash site.
We had tried 3 parks which were full and had had a long drive so had to find a spot for the night. We pulled in and immediately had concerns as it certainly didnt look like any of our previous sites which had all been of a good standard. We went into the grubby office and asked if they had 1 night which the woman behind the desk said they had for 65 dollars..so not cheap, she also wanted cash rather than card another warning sign!
So after a few minutes check in and being told the nearest place for dinner was either a garage or mcdonalds, we drove onto the site thinking at least its only 1 night we will gt off early in the morning.
Believe me 1 minute was enough to realise what a dreadful place this was, it was scruffy and poorly maintained and I just wanted to turn round and leave immediately. We had literally been on the site for 3 minutes and my husband went into the office to politely say without being rude that the site wasnt for us so could we please have a refund and we would be on our way.
10 minutes later after asking nicely then having to argue with the horrible woman he appeared without the refund, she had asked for our receipt...which she didnt give us!!! I was fuming and wanted to go and give her a piece of my mind (which my husband said wouldnt be worth it) and as we were just about to drive away she banged on my window and shouted at me why wouldnt we stay..what was wrong with the place!!!! Im afraid at this point I lost my cool and decided to not be so kind and tell her what a disgrace of place it was and she was a disgusting woman and I hoped she enjoyed spending her 65 dollars, before we drove off!!
So be warned and DO NOT stay here even if desperate ..we actually found a lovely site about 8k down the road for the night, but it was a lesson well learnt, the site staff also said that the police are called there regularly to the residents and it had a terrible reputation!
So perhaps a lucky escape and now I have had chance to read other reviews I see I am not the only one to have had the misfortune to come across this awful place and its owner.

Great position even though it's old

This park only takes tourists and has vacancies for overnight stayers nearly all the time. I had tried 3 parks before calling this one and was pleasantly surprised to get a two week booking over Christmas new year time. It is an old park but has all you need - clean and neat but little bits of maintenance would make it really good. A couple of ablutions doors either don't stay shut or need sanding to close. Overall though we are enjoying our stay and only today said we would return in the future.

Horrible customer service

My family was in your caravan park from 26/Dec/2017 till 28/Dec/2017.
My wife went to the amenities area and put her cap above the sink area. Becouse was too much bleach in the sink area the cap stained. We talked with one woman in the reception and asked for a new cap. The woman told she not going to give a new cap.

Great Rooms, Excellent Service by manager/owner and lovely people. Pleasure to stay at. Will be going again. Park very clean and handy to all local attractions and beach. Differently recommended. :) :)

This is an excellent family area for people of all ages. Walking and biking trails for miles provide access to the entire coastline. Kids play areas along the way provide multiple opportunities for both water activities, gymsets, and balance bikes. Great area.
