We were initially a bit reluctant to go because we were put off by some of the reviews. But we went there early afternoon just to check it out and we were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the person who showed us around. Also the view was great. And so we came in the evening. In fact it was our first evening in Corsica (23.09.2013). It was my best meal of the whole trip (Civet du sanglier). Service was great.
On our last night we came back again in order to guarantee that we enjoy ourselves and we did!

This is a lovely rooftop eatery with a wonderful view. The staff were friendly if a little inattentive.
The food was really good and the portions were huge, the Crevette were great and almost too plentiful. The Dublin Bay Prawns were gorgeous. The big portions attracted a big price, but well with it.

We went here because lots of other restos were full. We had starters, a main course and good bottle of wine for a reasonable 70 Euros. However, the first course (fried squid) tasted like frozen. My steak was dry and overcooked despite asking for pink, my wife's veal escalope was also poorly cooked. On the positive side the waitress was excellent, the view of the port OK and the wine good. Unfortunately the ambiance was poor because of over crowded seating on plastic chairs.

The furnishings to the restaurant are basic (plastic chairs) but the view from the Terrace is exceptional and, as previously been said cheaper than sitting on the Quay side. I had the â¬25 set menu and my wife & son had the â¬23 set menu. Both excellent value. The sardine stuffed with goat's cheese really works but you only get one. Service was good and you did not wait long between courses. Constant procession of people coming to dine. Including wine, beer and water bill was just slightly over â¬100 and I felt that was a fair price.

Cheaper (better value) than the restaurants right on the waterfront, but actually with a better view! we had the 23 Euro menu, 3 good courses, the house wine was fine.
