Had two stays during December 2017, first stay for 3 nights and the second stay for 7 nights with my family. Front Desk staff and checking in was flawless and very efficient. Restaurant serving a buffet breakfast with ample choices and super ones too. The waiters are highly attentive and provide courteous service. An all round commendable hospitality experience. Plenty of eating choices all around. The hotel also has a fully functioning professional gym, sauna, massage and 2 lounges serving refreshments. Highly recommended for business and pleasure.

Surprising to find out it is advertised as a boutique hotel ... didnât find that !
Given themselves too many stars !!!!
For a five star no complimentary robes or slippers. Breakfast was average

I stayed in the Bristol on a business trip for 3 nights. I think that 5 stars are really overrated, although all facilities are here. Nice pool, large gym overlooking the pool and a very nice dining place.
I had the buffet one night which I found a bit disappointing. Breakfast in the morning though was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms - which to me is most important- needs refurbishment though. The cabinets needed a paint job badly and the bathroom was outdated.
Overall: if you can get a good deal it could be worth considering this hotel, otherwise there are good alternatives in the area.

Although it claims to be a five star hotel, it is nothing more than a three star establishment. The place is old and needs refurbishment. There is a weird artificial small to the place when you have used too much air freshener. The bathrooms are old and it takes ages for the hot water to come. The shower pressure is also very poor. Today it took them 40 minutes to bring me a clean plate, knife and fork to my room. The room service is also average at best, and it is more expensive than other better hotels in the city. The lighting in the rooms is terribly depressing. The mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable. Would not want to stay here again.

We had 2-single night stays at the Bristol, on our way to and from Petra. Overall, the hotel is clean and and has a modern feel. It is a quiet hotel, half a block away from the main street. However, the air-conditioning did not work in the first room, and the water for the shower was only lukewarm. The breakfast buffet was very disorganized - no coffee, several of the main entree trays were empty, and no one at the omelette station. The second night's room was better. I also downgraded the rating for the ridiculously over-priced dinner buffet - USD$40 per person, the quality and variety of food was half of what I could get at home in my own somewhat expensive community. There are a couple of restaurants on the same street that offer better value.
