I spent a while searching for somewhere central but in a nice district, not too pricey, not too bland/mainstream-tourist. This place popped up and we were so happy from the moment we booked till the moment we left.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The area was perfect for us with easy transport links just a short walk away and food shops/resaurants nearby.
When we arrived we were greeted like friends, and then given a little talk about all the places we might want to visit- just as if we'd arrived at a friend's house while on holiday!
We looked forward to the lush breakfast every morning with a huge selection of hot and cold food plus fresh pastries bought locally. There is a microwave, crockery and a cupboard of kitchen-type things to help yourself to, and you have a fridge and kettel in your room, so though it's not self catering, it's quite easy to prepare food if you're too tired to go out.
Had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone :)

I stayed in Budapest Guestrooms for 5 nights in late October. It has a great location, very close to a subway and tram station. The neighborhood was quiet, and the room was clean. The email communication with the owner, Judit, went smoothly as she responded to emails quickly. Upon my arrival, she also provided money-saving tips for visiting Budapest. My departure flight was at 8pm. Since there was no guest for my room immediately after my stay, Judit allowed me to have a late check-out around 5pm, without additional charge. Highly recommend this place.

Great location, very clean rooms and an amazing host.
From the moment you book a room, the owner Judit sends you valuable information and advice prior to your arrival on travelling within Budapest.
On my arrival, I was greeted with a smile, a drink and she will sit with you and provide you with everything you need to know on the city.
The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious.
The WI-FI is perfect.
I only met one of her staff members, a young lady who was also very professional, polite and charming.
I would definitely stay here again.

The room was nice and clean. All the facilities were as described. Location was good too. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay there. I believe we had good value for money too.Highly recommended

Very good central location, clean large modern rooms, with very comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful with bountiful information of where to go and where to eat! We actually had no problems finding the accommodation and walked from Keleti Station (around 10-15 minute walk).
