From December 2017 to January 2018, we have decided to spend the festive season in Bali, coming from Brasil. For 9 days, the New Year's week, we stayed in Bulgari Resort Bali, located in Uluwatu. Obviously, choosing a hotel like this one you expect simply the best. However, they surprised me delivering a sort of things that made one of the best places I have ever had.
Let me start talking about the staff; you can count on your private butler to make choices and arranging activities all day long, in our case, was Mr. Chandra Wibawa, who took care of all our needs and, every time, trying to understand if we were feeling well about facilities, massage, dining, beach or, the comfort of our villa. Mr Yuji Tanaka, Mr Ida Kaniaka (Gusto), Mr Andrew Skinner, Mr Matteo Giurdanella and Mr. Guiri, all of those guys taking care of our meals and effectively surprising us with drinks, starlight dinner but, above all, every day with a unique smile and care, passing by to have a chat, providing gorgeous histories about there own lives and experiences, making the time we spend there, apart from the amazing and outstanding meals we have gotten, a picture that we are going to remind forever. Let me make an special highlight for the gala dinner and the party we had in the New Year's eve; an unique menu of very well and smart choices mixing international cousine to Bali's environment - amazing feeling to take part of it.
Secondly, I would like to highlight the beach; You go to a beach resort in order to enjoy the beach and that, in Bulgari, is quite awesome, specifically because the resort is in a cliff of over 150m high and, you need to take an inclinator to get the beach and, just the trip of 3 minutes down along the cliff can worth with an amazing view of the Indian ocean and the coast. Down on the beach you have Nyoman and John taking care of you, with sunblocks, repellent, drinks and big smile to find you. The beach, on low tides, can be as long as 1,5mile to walk and to collect small shells of several colors.
Thirdly, I would like to highlight the villa; It is completely astonishing. You can find a villa with small pool, privacy and views that hardly you could find somewhere else in Bali. But the small gifts they provide every single night were touching. In our case, this season, we have received small wooden musical instruments connected with the local culture. Obviously we took them to Brazil, along with the pictures to make a perfect remind of this trip.
Finally I would like to thank you guys, from manager to staff, including Ari and Wayan from the restaurant, for the amazing trip you provide to me this time. I Definitely recommend anyone who are interested about getting Bali, to enjoy the beach resort I have experienced this time.

Luxurious accommodation with a 24 hour butler service. Our butler Ada was attentive and sweet. He was very genuine and punctual. All the hotel staffs made the effort to remember little details about the guests which made us feel very at home. This property way exceeds expectations. From the reception to the buggy driver, everyone was lovely.

As I globe trotter, I have lived in Australia for 24 years but never been to Bali. Last year, I chose Bali as our summer holiday destination with accommodation booked at Bulgari Resort, Bali. During our stay in the resort we enjoyed the Bali hospitality with Italian make over. The very coexistence of rich Balinese heritage culture with sophisticated Italian influence is an unique concept that celebrated people, culture and heritage. We enjoyed our days tasting Italian pastries made by in-house chef from Europe or walking alone the Bulgari maintained beach or watching from our villa magnificent sunset in the Balinese sky. The high standard of customer service with mouth watering Italian and Balinese and several luxury swimming pools had definitely kept us busy everyday.The opulence of Bulgari resort , Bali is admirable and we would love to go back to the resort again and again.

Beautiful property with a great ambiance and trully personalised and professional service. We only stayed for a short time, but it was an experience to remember. The cliff edge villa is really lovely, with perhaps the nicest bathroom set up we have experienced in any villa style hotel so far. Sangkar restaurant was great, with the warm welcome and wonderful service throughout. We had some of the best meals in Bali there. The beach is very scenic, even though the sea is not really swimmable. Next time we need to stay longer!! Thank you for having us and looking after us so well!

Letâs face the reality. Bali tourism is deeply suffering from the news about Mount Agung. Exaggerations of media have resulted in cancellations and non-bookings.
However, 99% of the island is safe and 100% of the hotels. In a worst case scenario there will be flight delays (and there are worse places in the world to extend a stay for a few days).
Hotels like Bulgari will make everything possible to provide opportunities for well organised departures.
We have enjoyed for years the hospitality of Balinese people, now it is up to us to show that we are caring for them.
We have just spent 7 nights on Bali, 3 in the wonderful Bulgari. Location, architecture and service are amazing. Our butler Lanang was not only perfect but als warm hearted. We felt very positive about visiting Bali now and hope that those of you who love Bali wonât get misdirected by media headlines.
