We booked suite package for 3 nights at butterfly. House boat is located at Nageen lake which is an extension of Dal lake. I would recommend Nageen lake only for travellers which want a calm stay far from city rush. Suite room is OK for a family of three. Ask for another bed for kid as master bed is not big enough for three. B'fast served is customized as per your preference, majorily English b'fast options are served. Best time to visit Srinagar is from April - June when you get blossoms and gardens lush green. Suite rooms in peak season might be on higher side.

I have been working in Srinagar last few years, my friends and relatives keep coming to kashmir, i always make them stay at butterfly group of houseboats, nice location, good servive, good rooms and reasonable rates, you should also try morning shikara trip to vegetable garden from this place, aftab can also assisst you with car rental

I stayed at Butterfly group of houseboats in nov 2017, they have suite rooms and super deluxe rooms, I had booked super deluxe rooms, but they showed me suite rooms also, their suite rooms are very colourful, ,my package included dinner and breakfast, food was very tasty, I recommend staying at Butterfly group of Houseboatsbut they showed me suite rooms also, their suite rooms are very colourful, I also liked super deluxe rooms, they also have beautifully wood work in rooms, bathrooms have latest accessories and are very clean.i like to recommend to all go there.

I stayed in Dec at butterfly group of houseboats........ rooms were clean, heating arrangements were very good compared to 4 star hotel.......I had stayed in srinagar, owner helped me with car rental at very reasonable price...............it's also safe if you stay with kids, unlike Dal lake were you have to use Shikara every time you decide to go to market or sightseeing.
