Really disappointed with our stay in this hotel. The room was dusty and it smelt as if it had been closed up for some time. The pool was closed as was the spa so really it can only be described as a b&b, albeit one with a poor breakfast. No hot water available for making tea and the food that was available was of a poor standard.
This hotel is definitely not a 4*.

We have just come back from a weeks stay here, the hotel itself is nice, we found the staff to be pleasant.
The rooftop pool is lovely and quiet the only downside to it is the bar closes at 9 sometimes a little before, it would be ideal if it was to open later as to chill up there with a drink would be lovely.
Rooms are spacious and very clean, however we did miss not having a balcony!
There are some nice restaurants within walking distance and the coastal walk to rincon de Victoria where there is more of a selection.

Having moved out of another hotel (after two nightmare nights of club music till dawn) we were seeking any port in a storm. However we struck lucky with this quiet 4star hotel with a rooftop pool in a small resort close to Rincon. Our room was spacious with a spa bath, a private balcony and a huge bed and the ac worked fine.a good choice of places to eat and drink locally although the bar/restaurant in the little square nearby became our favourite especially their pil pill prawns.
A nice beach too just five minutes walk.
Was tempted to give the Cala Bahia a 5 but I never give 5s.

This hotel has a perfect location, its only a few years old but hasnât worn well. The staff are lazy and rude even if you speak a little Spanish. The owners need to send in some mystery shoppers and get rid of all the lazy rude staff. I think this could be all of them. Pole position in a nice village ideally located for Malaga city. 15 minutes on the bus and just over a euro to get into city centre. The owners of this hotel are missing out because this could be a gem. They are letting it rot away under there eyes. SOOOOO dissapointing.

Very disappointing for a 4star... it must be a hostel, they have abandoned this hotel.. ful of dust everywhere... I was even having flu & throat pain... respiratory problems.. the rooms are big but they are still in the 1907 furniture with the molds & are not sound proofed... u can practically hear everything from the other rooms .... a lot of infections will be spread actually through the dirty bathrooms.. the breakfast is so poor, in a basement .. internet not in the rooms... the blankets very dusty.. please do shut this down
