Very Scenic, Beautiful, Heavenly Resort on the Earth

After searching a lot in Google baba, finalized Camp Noel for our 1 night accommodation at Munnar, though it is 40 km away from the city limits and takes around 1.5 - 2 hours to reach to the resort. Travelling for the first time, we were bit worried as were supposed to cross one 3-4 KM of Jungle area of Shola National Park and it was about to become dark. Discussion already started in car why did we book so far from Munnar while no view point is near that resort. Somehow we crossed that jungle area just after one Check Post and after struggling a bit, reached at the destination.
To our surprise, the surrounding views at the resort were outstanding, excellent and mind-blowing. On top of that we got overwhelmed by the courtesy of the staffs, especially the manager Alwin and another middle aged uncle, who were standing at the entrance to welcome us. We had booked a Deluxe room, however we got promoted to a superior room (1 BHK Cottage) and that too without any extra bucks. Many thanks to Alwin for that. The check-in process got completed smoothly.
The views of the nearby mountains, green lawns, and the tranquility of the spot just made our staying memorable forever. It wonât be wrong to say that we felt a kind of heavenly feelings at the resort when we had our delicious dinner with very beautiful and mesmerizing surroundings just around, and hot burning Fireplace next to us with bit cold outside the windows. Next day early morning we just woke up by the musical chirping sounds of the birds, and experience was too fascinating in real. Had a wonderful breakfast, took so many photos and videos, met the resort staff and started our return journey. But for the first time, we were feeling sad to leave any hotel behind. Seriously 1 night was not just enough. Next time: Coming to Munnar means, at least 2-3 nights at Camp Noel. :-)
To Resort Owner: Thank you very much Sir for providing such a wonderful hospitality to visitors.
To Alwin and Staff: You guys are superb, keep up doing your good work !!

I am overwhelmed by the scenic beauty of the place , build amongst lush greenery its simply heavenly experience . The staffs are very cordial & supportive. Just the food quality need to be improved. Also few road signs with directions need to be given from munnar as the place is so remote.
An awesome place tucked away from Munnar

I was a bit hesitant to book Camp Noel not knowing its exact location. However, took the risk and booked it for a 2N/3D break. It is better to call them and ask for directions. The staff were very sharp and friendly in giving proper directions. I could reach there without any issues, and the roads are not that great for the last few kms. If you are driving a sedan you need to be little careful, but nothing to worry about. The property is superb in terms of location and very well maintained. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Loved the stay there for 2 days, as it offers good views, feels tranquil and gives you that break without cell phones and internet. The food was good, but just make sure you tell your preferences like less oil, spice etc. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone who is looking for a peaceful stay around Munnar, well almost, as this place is about 90 min drive from Munnar :)
Excellent supportive staff and very scenic

Far away from munnar, no Internet helps you to really cut you off from the mad race of social media. Beautiful location, gardens and excellent staff. Amazingly pleasing and supportive staff to help in meeting the special needs we had for gluten free content wanted for us. Very much a place to be there and chill out and winter and cold feelings will keep you well reminded. Very cold and enjoy Bon fire outside and inside the cottages also !!!
High fives to Tom , Anu and all staff at Camp Noel
Extraordinarily scenic and isolated place, but keep food expectations low.

First things first - word of caution: To get to the place from Munnar, drive to Top Station first and then reach this place via Koviloor. Should you choose to drive on the road that Google Maps shows, you are in for a very treacherous and scary jeep track through a desolate and private estate! Also, no n/w other than BSNL works, so make sure to download the map in Munnar before starting the scenic ride. Lot of tourist traffic will slow you down (40km in ~2hrs), but that cant be helped.
The property is other worldly with cottages that are old time, with a must have and must use fireplace (bathrooms need some attention though), ample green space all around (kids will have a gala time on its gentle slopes), abundant floral variety, 360 degree view of mountains and valleys, and a pristine (albeit cold) air to die for.
The food is a bit of a let down. Mandatory buffet at 600/- head, with very limited and pedestrian veg options turned us off. But the staff was kind enough to accommodate a-la-carte provided we gave the order for dinner at lunch time! People wanting Kerala food are in for a disappointment though. Free Wifi is available only in the reception area but the connection is flaky at best. The staff is top notch. Ever courteous, ever smiling, even with teeth chattering cold to beat and ever prompt.
From experience - stay for 2 nights, take a book, laze on the lawns and return rejuvenated. Carry tons of winter wear. Visit the nearby strawberry and misc veg farms, go no where else.
