We booked 3 rooms and all were good, clean n spacious. The hotel's surrounding was clean, with nice view of Bukittinggi as the hotel is located on a high ground. The breakfast spread was simple, nothing special but I lovesss the ketupat with gulai nangka muda which was served on our 1st day. It's so delicious.

This is an old hotel, the interior is a bit dated, and it is off the way from the city center. You need to take a taxi (cost around IDR 40-50 thousands) to the Clock tower (Jam Gadang).
But it is spacious, has beautiful view from the balcony. The area is also very big with plenty of area to walk around.
The breakfast was very simple (fried noodle, fried rice, eggs and local dish of lontong sayur). They need to add more variety.
But the food we ordered from the restaurant: Soto Padang and Sop Iga were very tasty.
The service was great. The staff were helpful, polite and respectful.

The hotel is locate close to local house area so need to get inside a bit from main road, just follow the hotel direction that available in street. It's kind a hidden hotel but nice.
When I'm staying in this hotel the weather is raining whole day so it really cold, we not even using the AC whole day. U may prepare for sweater.
Hot water is available for taking shower.
Hotel is clean and the people also nice.
We got room on 2nd floor and the view is very nice, we can see sunrise in morning with mountain view.
Room space is enough but there's no hairdryer in bathroom so need to ask from reception.
Breakfast is ok but not so various, the taste just ok only. Breakfast start from 7am-10am.

The place is secluded, giving you peaceful surrounding. However, car rental is recommended if you need to travel during night time. The surrounding view is breath-taking. There is a viewing tower to give you the best place to view almost 360 degrees. The food is also tasty, if you like local padang-style food.

I stayed one night and felt like I'm on honeymoon vacation. The room was big, clean, fresh air. The view from rooftop was great. The OB was very helpful.
The lack of water on swimming pool made me give 4 star.
