The Capital Plaza is a nice hotel. The room is comfortable, I took a double bed room.
The bathroom inside the room is quite large.
Good breakfast served at ground floor with many specialities for different tastes.
I didn't have enough time to try the brasserie at ground floor but it seems good.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms nice but bathrooms basic shower no bath. Our shower was leaking but as only there 3 nights just didn't like to moan. Breakfast plentiful but cooked part could have been hotter with warm plates. The hotel is about half an hour walk from Old city. The bedroom was very warm and we couldn't get air con to work. The hotel is on a very busy main road so having the window open was too noisy. Good hotel if using as a Base. They booked us a taxi to get to train station no problem. Oh and if you want milk with your coffer in the room you need to ask at the bar and they will sort.

Typical 4 star hotel with usual Romanian level of service. Do not have something bad to tell about this place, but not some excellent points as well. The only real minus were uncomfortable bed and pillows. The location is kind of "near center". Take ibto account tbe terrible traffic at the city and near city center area.

What you see on the website is NOT what you see when you get there.
I was told a story about a sick woman unable to leave her room as the official reason why I couldnât get the room I had prepaid. They gave me reasons why they couldnât refund me and even went all the way to call someone that pretended to be their lawyer (at 10pm) that explained that if I didnât accepted to be housed in a 2 star level hotel across the city, I would loose it all. I was so exhausted that I would have accepted, except that I had to pay a huge amount for the taxi to take me there (one of their friends maybe).
As I decided to find a nearby place to stay on my own, my colleague, staying at this hotel allowed me to drop my luggage in his room and refresh before late dinner.
What a surprise when I got in the room after a trip in a very scary elevator (strange noise)! Stained carpet, non working light bulbs. Very dirty windows. Roaches in the shower escaped through the drain when I turned on the light.
Finally, I think it was a chance to be lied to.
I usually only post positive advices, but I cannot let my trip advisor community down. Specially since the hotel receptionist clearly stated, âTripAdvisor is crap for usâ.
Please avoid this place.

I was on a business trip, working the whole day. The evening I have arrived I put the sign for a breakfast r room service at the door at 20:00 with the order for 7:30 next morning. The order never arrived and I went at 08:00 downstairs and complained at the reception very politely. The lady at the reception just rolled her eyes at me without saying a word of excuse. I took a very quick few bites as was about to leave in an extremely crowded room sitting at the table with ten other people. There was no salt and pepper. I asked some young waiters who were standing in a group and giggling to get it and they brought, but empty one and continued giggling. It seems that they are some children on practice. When I returned to the hotel at 21:00, completely burned out and with the perspective that I had to get up at 04:30 next morning to fly back, unbelievable loud music was in a hotel. I have asked at the reception for how long it will last, they said not longer than 23:00. But even that was not true and we went into the night after midnight. I complained by the phone and the answer was strange: we have nothing to do with this ( people at the reception). Go to the manager in the morning. In the meantime, fire alarm also appeared, I put the clothes, but when I went out some people were returning, saying that it was false alarm. I called the reception and they said: O no, it was not real fire alarm, sorry for it. I left the hotel terribly tired after the sleepless night at 05:00 and will never come back.
