My wife and I visited the Fox & Willow for a meal on an itison deal which was given to us by my daughter.
This was our first visit to the hotel and we were very impressed with the ambience of the dining room and attentiveness of the staff.
I had the beef and my wife had the chicken and they both were "well presented" and delicious. You could choose either a starter & main course or main course & sweet and we opted for the latter.
As I was driving, I didn't get the chance to sample the bar, however that is something for another day.
We had a very enjoyable evening and we will make a point of returning sometime soon. Thanks once again to all the staff.

Ate here on Saturday night. Food and cocktails were v nice. I enjoyed the harrisa chicken and my hubby had a lovely steak. Only complaint is the heat, we were boiled. Think the staff must have noticed and opened a door because I felt a sudden cool breeze which was much appreciated. Perhaps keep the fire off although it is lovely to look at. Nice refurb and step up since the Carrick lodge. Hope the business does well and it certainly seems to be popular

This hotel has friendly helpful staff. I stayed on a Tuesday night last week and enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. We had the 2 course meal deal and the food was superb. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant which was fairly full of people. The room was of a high standard and we both had the best sleep in ages.

Just back from having a lovely meal here. We both ordered the t bone steak which was cooked to absolute perfection. The staff were very attentive and the service was great. Cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely be returning ð

Visited this hotel for lunch with my friend
The menu was varied and a bit different from the norm
The surroundings were excellent and the staff very helpful
A bit pricier than pub food but the quality was better so didnât mind paying a bit more
Would definitely return
