I booked this apartment for the 9th to 11th November and didn't realise I had made a mistake until I received a no show email as I approached the port of Barcelona and picked up signal on my phone. This was on the 10th. I had actually stayed overnight on the ferry on the 9th and should have booked the 10th to 12th at the apartment. Realising my mistake I contacted the provider to see if my booking for the 10th was still available. I was told the one bedroom apartment I had booked had been resold but they had 3 two bed apartments available. However if I wanted to stay in one of these I would have to book and pay again in full. As far as they were concerned my original booking was cancelled when I didn't show up. They showed no understanding for the fact I had made a genuine mistake. I realise they are a business and their policies may allow this but in respect of customer service found the response appalling. I would have expected them at least reduce the cost of the two bed apartment by the amount I had already paid to stay there that night. When I return to the UK I contacted customer services for the website I made the booking through and they contacted Casp apartments to ask them to refund the no show costs for the 10th but Casp apartments refused. I feel ripped off as I was there on the 10th, had paid for a room, they had a vacancy, they had presumably received a second payment on the room I had originally booked but I couldn't stay as I wasn't prepared to pay full price for a two bed apartment.

Recently visited Barcelona stayed at casp74 apartment really nice place quite central easy to get in around the city, very friendly staff specially Lucia the receptionist who checked us in and out always smiling and very well cared for guests.

We stayed here as a group of 5 on a recent weekend break to Barcelona .
The building is fairly unimpressive from the front but the 3 bedroom apartment we stayed was just the opposite . Large, spacious, modern , immaculate , comfortable - all the things we wanted.
It was set over 2 floors with a really good size kitchen / dining and living space opening onto a terrace area which was really big .
Upstairs were 3 bedrooms , the master being a great size with en-suite and sliding doors overlooking the terrace . The other two bedrooms were a bit more compact with no windows which wasn't ideal but still comfortable and fine .
The beds though are 2 doubles and 2 singles and a bit more flexibility to separate beds would have been more suitable.
Location wise ,we walked everywhere and found it to be central enough but far enough out that it was extremely peaceful at night .
I would definitely recommend this accommodation and the reception staff were very helpful too .
A great alternative to a hotel for a more sociable accommodation set up, would definitely return.

I stayed at this place during my recent vacation in Spain . I landed there accidentally after our original reservation was cancelled by another Hotel . It is a nice apartment with all the basic that you need to make your stay pleasant in Barcelona , The place was clean and well maintained. Not in the main touristic area but it is located one block from a subway station which makes it accessible to everything . All you need is at a walking distance including a supermarket , a pharmacy , a bank , coffee shop ( downstairs ) . It is a quiet neighborhood . I would definitively stay there again if I go back to Barcelona. I definitivey recommend it

Casp74 is the ideal base for exploring Barcelona. A little out of the main action so it's quiet but ten/fifteen minutes stroll takes you straight to las Ramblas. Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Apartments were clean, well-equipped and serviced daily. We stayed in comfort apartment for 4 with pull-out sofa bed. It was spacious and very clean. The apartment had added extras of dishwasher, washing machine and iron so perfect for young families. Highly recommend BusTuristic tours which the hotel can get you a discount for. We would highly recommend casp74 and definitely plan to return.
