Stayed at the Castille for a couple of nights, located Rue Cambon (next to Chanel original store) the hotel is close to the Louvre, the high-end shops of Rue St Honoré and the Seine River, it does not get much better than that.
The lobby is decorated with taste and the front desk staff is courteous and efficient.
So far so good, but... the room I got was so small I could not open my luggage on the bed, the bathroom was as small as it could be to fit a tub and a sink. Really nothing special.
On the way out I tipped the bell boy after he retrieved my luggage left earlier in the storage room. I was then on my own, do not expect help to put them in a cab.
Why so much detail? Because the place has a 5 Star-rating and I can come up with at least 3 hotels in 500 yard radius with better rooms and service. There is nothing horrible with this place, it is simply disappointing.

The staff was extremely attentive and our stay was great! finally a hotel that is overstaffed rather than understaffed. the hotel cat is a nice surprise and is so cute and chubby.
The location is great for museums and sightseeing, but not so great for nightlife or cheap dining.

Besides that this hotel is well placed, beautifully done and offers a refreshing start of a week in Paris, the most interesting is having a free mobile by the hotel with free data, international and local phone calls which really had us at a positive shock.
Really, amazing idea and innovative that makes you feel super at ease while in Town.
You should really try the hotel, would leave with a smile at your face.

This is a very cute boutique hotel, you will feel like you are living in a Parisian apartment if you have the right room. The Superior room is very tiny (like all hotel in Paris). If you like a bit of space or have 2 people, make sure you book the Deluxe room. Otherwise, you will be living on top of each other. There are large apartment rooms which is good option if you have a few people.
The location is great with easily access to shopping, restaurants and supermarket. Not to mention it is close to great landmarks.
Small range but nice breakfast selection. Staff are friendly. Another bonus is they have kettle in your room (this is not always the case in other hotels in Paris). It is just nice to able to make a cup of tea without waiting for room service to bring one up!

This boutique hotel is in the heart of Paris' luxury shopping area - Chanel is steps away, Goyard down the street, many more in between. The staff here was helpful and eager to assist with whatever we needed. Hotel is clean, quiet, classic decor, breakfast is delicious and service in restaurant is good. There is a sweet resident cat named Eliot. My only complaint was the concierge recommended a terrible restaurant. A waste of one of my precious opportunities for delicious French cuisine. Nearly a crime in my book. Otherwise a very nice stay.
