Amazing Architecture!

A small group of us arrived several hours late due to an eventful journey involving three punctures. So when we arrived we were dismayed to find our rooms weren't ready. Three of us had to return to the city and when we returned three hours later there was an issue with my room. The luggage was inside but there didn't appear to be a key to let myself and my friend in too. After a short delay the key was found.
Despite the rocky start this is an amazing place to stay! The architecture is out of this world and I'd have happily stayed longer than one night.
A word of warning though: if you order wine do check the price first before it's opened. We paid more than double we'd been paying elsewhere in India.
Excellent place

We stayed for a couple of nights and dad an amazing stay at Kanota. Rooms are huge and spacious. Kid loved the horse stable. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a calm and relaxed trip far away from the city.
Fun, Quirky Place

What a great place! It was a pleasure to stay at Castle Kanota. Our room was super clean and had a HUGE bathroom. The rooms are all appointed with colonial decorations, a mix of Indian and British heritage. The staff were all very nice and super willing to help you in any way possible. The large veranda in front of the hotel is a nice place for cocktails in the evening. The food was good, too. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.
So special!!

I was so excited to be staying at a heritage hotel!! I really felt like I could absorb the history! My room was lovely with marble floors and ornate furniture. My bathroom was huge!! The staff were very nice and attentive. Super enjoyed hanging out on the veranda for leisurely evening cocktails and swimming in the pool at sunset watching the birds go by.... â¤ï¸

Castle Kanota is located about 15 kms outside Jaipur and was the location used in the movie Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Viceroy Club. We didnât stay here and it was quiet the day we visited, but we were so glad we did.
