Amazing place. There is ample peace and Tranquility available here. The place is owned by Mr.Subramaniam , a Scientist and the place is managed the girls who are studying in the gurukulam. Rooms are good and clean. Good for family outing. Food served here is simple and delicious. One can stay here, instead of staying in Mysore.
Always a wonderful experience at Cauvery Sannidhi

Third time visit in 3 years and the experience at Cauvery Sannidhi is still the same-Wonderful !. The calm atmosphere, the stroll beside the beautiful Cauvery river, the tasty vegetarian food in the resort was a great experience as ever. The flow of water in Cauvery in the resort was pretty good even in summer n we had spent most of our time in the waters of Cauvery. All of these comes at a very reasonable cost, other resorts would have charged triple the amount charged here. Kudos to KK Subramani, who uses the amount collected to provide free education to girls. Eagerly awaiting our next trip to the resort
Value for money stay when you have least expectation

Cauvery Sannidhi means "near to Kaveri River" in kannada. That's exactly what you get here. This is not a resort by definition, but more like home stay or farm house stay. It is private farm of a agricultural scientist. There is a Gurukulam for girls and a Yoga training center for foreign yoga teachers!
A supervisor named Kuldeep acts as attender, manager, chef and servant - very humble & active! All the meals are included in the package. They only serve pure veg dishes without added chemical colors and additives. Junk-foodies may not like their menu.
Rooms are reasonably clean & hygienic. Don't expect bathroom fittings, fans, lights and hot water connection to work properly. This is not a professionally managed place. Visit this place only to enjoy for refreshment of mind and body.
One Good Resort for Family near Srirangapatna

It is a beautiful and calm place with greenery and a stream running by the resort. Anyone who would require a break from City life can come here and get rejuvenated. Food is pure vegetarian and also good.
Peaceful amidst nature

Off the Bangalore - Mysore Highway close to Srirangapatna, a detour into the countryside takes you to this quaint little 'resort - if I may call it'.
A peaceful, tranquil place - off the hustle and bustle of the cities and the highway, this resort is situation on the banks of a peaceful tributary of Cauvery close to the main Cauvery channel.
Run by a group which runs a Gurukul within the premises, this place is not the traditional, regular hotel/ resort. It is a 'resort' - which I think is not run for commercial purposes and more as a source of funds for the Gurukul.
Even though there is no 'fixed menu' and restaurants (within the premises or close by), food is served from the traditional kitchen - breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Service is good and you have staff who are eager to help.
Don't expect fancy restaurants, amazing rooms, great approach roads to the premises, or for that matter, even road signs which lead to this place.
However, if you want an offbeat retreat close to Mysore, Bengaluru - close to mother nature, where you need peace and tranquillity, where you get to spend a relaxing time close to Cauvery and which is easy on your wallet, this is the place for you.
